OMG this thing is a godsend! I moved recently and didn’t have anywhere to hang my wet clothes any longer. This didn’t take much time to install and is so easy to use. You just pull the lines over and then lock them in place then hang wet clothes to dry. Ignore the reviews where people say their clothes all go to the middle cause I worked about that but, they don’t. Those people must not know how to lock the line in place which would cause the line to come out more and sink the clothes in the middle. You have to have it locked in so the line doesn’t release more when you add weight to it.

Works great in the basement. One downside is the clothespins don’t tighten down in one spot. Line is too narrow for the standard clothespin. Once laundry is hung there is no problem, just wants to slide while hanging the laundry up.

This arrived the same day as ordered. Appears to be sturdy enough for the task but only time will tell. Listing fails to mention that there are backplates that you install to the walls. This makes installation much easier and allows you to remove the main unit during the rainy season. My walls were stucco which required a special masonry bit for the holes. I used the provided plastic screw anchors which are not ideal for stucco so I may need replace which different anchors if it starts to pull away from the wall. There are 5 screws for the main unit and 4 each for the anchors which seem sturdy enough for now.I wanted this out of site from my neighbors and close to my laundry room so I chose the side of my house which gets full sun half of the day. It's about 7 feet across so I chose to install the anchors at a diagonal to the main unit so the cable length ends up around 11 feet. This gives about 20 total feet of usable clothes line.I tested the strings and it seems to work fine but I wish there was a way to tension the wire because there is a bit of slack even after it is locked. I'm not too concerned since I'll be using clothes pins to keep everything from sliding to the middle.That said, I have yet to actually put a load of wet clothes out on this so I'll update if there are any problems. I do not expect any at this time.

This is not sturdy whatsoever. All the clothes fall to the middle. It's pretty but isn't practical unless you're only hanging one or two items.. Would not suggest for every day use!
