Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children

Nobuo Uematsu is a composer I wish everyone could listen to. FFVII AC soundtrack is just incredible as everyones posted. Fans of FFVII will be taken back in time, to both the game and movie. Nonfans too can appreciate the music!Nobuo just is a talented composer who can create any type of music fantastically, this track ranges from classical, gospel, hard rock, techno, operatic, just... he does any genre with ease.This music and FFVII itself has a special place for me, and the music was at the forefront to make the story, characters and experience be unforgettable. Of course playing the game itself I am more emotionally attached to the music and even movie... All the characters themes, everything is here. Mostly from the game, there are original stuff here tho.WORTH MENTIONG personally... (ending in my favorite on 2nd CD, "Cloud Smiles"FIRST CD -2. Promised Land - just great, gospel like, always inspiring and solemn at the same time.3. Beyond the Wasteland - watch your house rumble! The bass beats during the first half are great. Then it turns into a great action set, gypsie like driving song, always fun to listen to!4. (piano themes) Aerith's, Tifas... because beautifully done on piano, always takes me back to game. Just wonderful pieces by themselves, I mean Aerith, come on! =)5.) Battle in Forgotten City - such a percussive, bass driven piece with rock and choir and Herman like violins. I can play this one over and over so fun and great.2nd CD -Divinity I - alwyas gives me shivers. Classic Nobuo deep choirical, operatic cinematic classical orchestral action!Divinity II - Like I. But inpsiring as cloud flies high to save the day... and then Aerith's theme at the peak, just always gets me.MY FAVORITE - CLOUD SMILES - This purely because it effects me emotionally everytime, takes me back to game, and then end of AC... Aerith such a big thing, just seeing how it ends now, makes you happy, and you feel exactly what Cloud does as she leaves to the music.ANYWAYS... Long rant but just one of those things, as a fan of anything, the music makes it all come alive for ya! Anything that sends you back in time, effects you on an emotional level is worth raving about!Nobuo Uematsu - as Barret would say, "You are the man!"

Best soundtrack. Ever. Of all time.

Ordered this CD several months ago and I had to wait for it to be in stock for it to be shipped but it was well worth the wait. As a Final Fantasy VII fan, especially for the movie, this was a must have for me. The remix version of One Winged Angel was incredible but the two Destiny tracks as well as the Promised land were amazing as well. Its very easy to relive the movie through this CD.If anyone reading this is a Final Fantasy fan or just loves great music, GET THIS CD!!! You will not be disappointed.

This is a gorgeous soundtrack with a range of musical genres that still maintains the warmth and depth of feeling which FF7 inspires in fans.It's a delight to listen to this OST even if you haven't seen the movie. A great addition to any one's music library. Nobuo Uematsu has produced another masterpiece.

The moive to the game Crisis Core that came before it, what a great way to have a more advance conection to Advent Children other then getting the Soundtrack to it. The music is amazing, :D I was so amazed when I got mine I just couldn't wait. :D I love it so much!! :D

This set was a good investment, in my opinion. Much like the movie, the soundtrack is very faithful to the source content set forth in the original Final Fantasy 7. The listener gets a healthy dose of rock, techno, and orchestral remixes, plus what I believe to be a few original tracks to the movie. This CD is great if you ever wondered how good your favorite MIDI tracks could sound updated. The sound quality and production value here is tremendous.I only had a few issues with this soundtrack. My first issue is with the final track on disc 2, which sounded something like a J-pop track. In my opinion, it simply was not suitable given the nature of the rest of the music set. Otherwise, disc 2 seemed to be the superior CD.Also, it seemed that some transitions inside of tracks were a bit stilted. I believe this is due to the fact that the music is well contoured to fit the action of the film. However, without visual action to frame out the context of the sound, it doesn't seem to flow as naturally during casual listening. Though, it's just a minor issue on a generally excellent soundtrack.In all, I was very pleased with this purchase, and feel that it was money well spent.

One of the best soundtracks of the Final Fantasy franchise! Disc was in wonderful condition!

Love this album. One of my fav movies and now I can relive every moment. Watched the movie so much that every song played I can see each scene that happens ^_^

Une extrêmement bonne surprise que ces deux CD. Un régal qui m'étonne encore. La musique est à la hauteur des figurines, prenante, esthétique, soignée et qui apporte une ambiance magique à la hauteur de FFVII. Une réussite donc et je vous remercie pour cette découverte.

A beautiful compilation of the Masterful works of Nobuo Uematsu. Has all the songs from the Movie as well as shiny letters and Fenrirs plastered everywhere. Lyrics inside in roomaji and kanji. Comes as two discs and worth every dollar you spend. Has some pieces from the original game that were expertly redone, like One Winged Angel and Aerith's Theme. Also some of the more nostalgic pieces are mixed in here and there. Overall a great buy!

My partner has wanted this for a long time and was very happy with it. if you are a final fantasy nut then this is a must have. If you just like original music this is also a must have. It came in plenty of time and well packed.

FF7が発売されて今年は15周年ですね。こないだPSPのアーカイブスでFF7をダウンロードしました。PS版もやってましたが、再びハマりました(笑)そして、つい最近『COMPILATION of FINAL FANTASY VII』の存在を知りました。ADVENT CHILDRENは、久々に素晴らしい映像作品と出会えた気がします。サウンドトラックは、試聴が可能だった『再臨:片翼の天使』に惚れてCDを即購入しました。綺麗に流れるピアノ・ロック調のかっこよさ・オーケストラな感じが好きなので、全曲惚れ惚れしました!!元々サントラ好きですが、このCDは全ての上をいきますね。なんで今までFF7ACの存在を知らなかったんだろうと後悔しました…orzCD発売からもうすぐ7年経つんですね。音楽は人それぞれ好みがありますが、FF7ACを見て「音楽良かったな」と思えたならCD買っても損はないと思います!!!私の場合、ドライブだと適当に聴き流しそうで怖いです(笑)部屋でヘッドホン掛けながらじっくり聴いてます。
