Healthy snack option for those unexpected hunger pains
Our 16 month old daughter likes these--doesn't love them. She prefers sweeter fruit pouches (don't many of us). However, having these savory pouches helps to make me feel a little better about giving her pouches in the first place. We like to eat fresh, while foods in our family, so we don't love giving our daughter these pouches too frequently. However, we keep them in the car and stroller for those times when she is unexpectedly hungry and needs something substantial on her little tummy. At about 16 months old, she has started being able to eat these on her own without me having to squeeze them out for her she still can't get the food from the very bottom of the pouch because it folds where she holds it and cuts off auction. She doesn't know how to push the food up, so I have to help her with the last little bit. Otherwise, she's independent. Again, she's had minimal exposure to the pouches so a kid who has daily or more frequent exposure may be more efficient with them.Unlike some of the sweeter, fruitier pouches, this food doesn't dribble or drip out of the opening when my daughter shakes the pouch. Maybe a drop here or there, but not a total mess. I like that this mixture stays relatively contained with my daughter moves about. As with most of these pouches, the size of the top does make me nervous about it being a choke hazard. It's not a solid piece of plastic, so she could probably get it through the vents if it became lodged in her throat. I'd love a different design for the top though. I'm always dropping things and sometimes don't realize I've dropped something until my daughter picks it up nd puts it in her mouth.

Yum yum
My son can't get enough of the Pumpkin & Spinach flavor. I don't know why since it tastes kind of bleh to me, but I always keep it stocked for my picky eater. When he had the flu, this was the only thing he could keep down and I would mix water in with the puree to keep him from dehydrating (he refused to drink just water due to a sore throat). That's how much he loves this stuff.

Very healthy but doesn't not taste good.
My 2 year old was not crazy about this one(he usually eats pretty much everything from the pouches).I tried it and the taste is pretty bland. I wish they added a bit of pear or peach for taste so kids will bemore willing to eat those healthy veggies! If you are a health nut like me iherb.com is great place to shop for organic and natural foods, cosmetics, supplements.Code MAV969 will give you 10$ off 40$ there! it's kind of gross
My kids are prone to sweeter flavors b/c most packets are and were when we began feeding them these and its hard to get them to go for things like this flavor with no applesauce in it but I was hoping to try anyway. They hated it but not bc it wasn't sweet - it tasted bad, odd and just not a lot of rock the taste-buds flavor... I'd have maybe given it 2-3 stars for others whose kids aren't stuck on sweet if I didn't gag after trying it myself. If they had only roasted the pumpkin and added some spices to accentuate the ingredients it could have been great but its bland and weird-too bad.

only veggie my kid will eat some days
I squeeze this pouch out into a bowl and add spices (a generous shake of garam masala, usually), and my 21-month-old will attack it with a spoon and wolf it down. Since he's stubborn about vegetables most of the time, I do this every once in a while just to make sure he gets some. For a toddler it's not nearly enough for a meal, of course, but it makes a great side. I tried a spoonful myself and it really wasn't bad.
