Overall good buy!
UPDATE: My baby who has lived in the lap of luxury laying on couches & human beds since she was a pup LOVES this bed. Yes I put it on my bed to help her get used to it but now even when I leave it on the tile I find her sleeping on it. It’s kind of sad tbh I miss her stealing my pillows but she prefers her own space, guess I’m dealing with a teenager now.For reference, my furbaby is a german shepherd / husky mix with more of a petite german shepherd frame (long torso) and she weighs 58 lbs. I was torn between the 40in and 52in but ultimately went with the 40 inch since she likes to be snuggled and also the fact that I wasn't sure I'd have enough room for the 52 in my studio apartment. I am very glad I went with the 40 inch!! As you can see from the photos curled up she still has a fair amount of room and she can also lay out full but her legs will be hanging off. I think she would have been just as happy in the 52 inch and it would have given her a little more of a "play/chew area" on the inner part of the bed, so that's something to consider. She understood the purpose of the bed and got right in when I laid it out however she still doesn't get exactly why its there when there's a perfectly good couch a few feet away lol. However when I got home after work & sprawled our on the couch it slowly started to dawn on her that she has her own little snuggle island. The sides stay magically puffy when shes in it but I think, like other reviewers stated, the inner pouf could use more stuffing (this also depends on how much your dog weighs). When she's laying on it I don't think she's actually touching the ground but she's pretty close. I will end up adding some foam egg crate for more padding eventually. I weigh about 150 lb and I crawled in it last night and while I fit inside curled up (and it was actually quite comfortable) I was touching the ground. However the weight suggestion for the 40 inch is 45-70lbs so that's understandable, again it was still comfy! The material of the bed looks very high on quality and the navy is a true navy. It does collect dog hair, which is actually great news for my tile floors, but it doesn't get stuck in the fabric making it really easy to remove (legit beat it on a wall or tree & you’re good). The fabric also feels really heavy duty and seems like it will hold up very well even to a scratcher. I appreciate that the bottom is waterproof however I really wish it had some grip to it. It slides ALL over my tile floors when she jumps in it or if she hits it when running after a toy. That's annoying and for the price point that should really be factored into the design of this bed. I will most definitely be borrowing a hot glue gun and "dot" the bottom in an attempt to create a fix for this major flaw.In an attempt to warm my baby up to this bed I put it on my memory foam bed at bedtime. She hopped right in and didn't get out of it the rest of the night. Even when I got up in the middle of the night I didn't come back to her having commandeered my coziest pillow which happens legit every single night!!! So I am one happy gal not having to share my pillow :D I'll definitely be moving this "boat" as I like to call it onto the bed every night from here on out!

Two paws up
I decided to upgrade my dog’s bed for his 2nd birthday, and after doing a lot of research settled on this one. It actually wound up being bigger than I expected...definitely big enough that I could curl up and lay down in it if I wanted. As you can see from the overhead shot, I could definitely fit a second dog in the bed if I had one (for reference, Toby is a boxer/lab mix, about 80lbs).Overall, I’m happy with my purchase. The colour is essentially as pictured, and it seems welll-made. After 2 weeks of use, it hasn’t gotten dingy at ALL, which is a big difference from the beds we’ve had in the past. I haven’t washed the cover yet, but it seems like it all comes apart fairly easily. I think Toby is pretty happy with it, too!

My dogs love it!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. No sooner had I taken it out of the package did my golden retriever make her way onto the bed. She loves it! And so does our German shepherd. I was glad to see the size of the bed considering I've purchased others that say they are for large dogs and some clearly don't understand what the word "large" means. This one gets it! Our golden is 83 pounds while our GSD is 110 pounds and both are long/tall animals. This bed is the perfect size for them. In fact, they love it so much, I had to buy another because neither wants to share. The only thing I wish was that the colors were specified more simply (purple, brown, etc). For those of us who are color blind, it's not easy to make out what is what from the pictures. Of course, I did figure it out, but again, simplicity is always key for me.

My dogs destroyed three in 3 months, because zipper is on top and tempting...
Just as my headline states, the placement of the zipper on the TOP side of this bed is just stupid. It's just too tempting to play and chew on... and once they chew up even a small part of the zipper, is just one super long one around the whole outside and center rings, you can never remove the insides and put them back in again. This is really a terrible design flaw. I'm trying K-9 Ballistics beds next. But I just HAVE to ask, why they hell wouldn't just put the zippers on the bottom like everyone else? (these beds are not reversible, btw, there is only one side up.

Good fit and removable covers
The 40 inch bed is a little large for my 85 lb Weimaraner and a little too small for my 160 lb Great Dane, lol. I'm getting the 52 inch bed on Monday and I'm sure my Dane will be happier in that. We also have a German Short Haired Pointer and a Golden Retriever that both fit nicely in the 40 inch bed. These new removable covers are a great idea, it was impossible to wash a 40 inch bed and very hard to wash a 40 inch bed in a machine. I don't like the placement of the zippers, they could have been hidden better much better, I expect the dogs to get poked and possibly tear the zippers open. These beds don't have the best support, as you can see in the photos, I have the donut bed on a good orthopedic mattress from Drs Foster and Smith. I may get some nice foam or egg crate material to make the inner cushion more comfy but I'll hold off on doing the same to the bolsters until they get flat. Majestic is a good brand for the price and their willingness to make improvements is great.

Bully approved
My bully LOVES this bed! This is his second one, after years of washing the cover and him nesting, it was time to get a new one. I barely got it out of the box before he was already on it. He loves to hide his bones and antlers in the fold of the bottom to the edge. He throws himself on it and acts crazy, tells plenty of stories from it. He is so happy with it which makes me so happy.

8 months later...
It's still an amazing bed, and it's the perfect size for our 1-year-old corgi pup. No issues and we've only had to wash it maybe 3-4 times since getting it. Once in a while our pup would bite and dig into it, but though he's by no means a power-chewer, the bed has held up very well and there's not a single tear in it. The center part isn't as poofy as before, but it's still very comfy. Our corgi approves!

Looove it!!!
I have an 85lb rotti boxer and he loooooves this bed! When I first put it down and told him that this was his new bed and for him to go to it he was super happy and started settling in, I would then pretend to climb into his bed and he would be very protective. I think that I could have gone with a smaller size, but with this one my dog can fully stretch out and have more than enough space for himself.

Poor quality in the seams
I put this in the wash as soon as I received it and the threading came loose at the seam. My dog didn't even have the chance to use it, not even sure how well it would have held up if we did allow the dog to use it. The hassle to return such an award item is too much.
