These wine glasses are the nicest I’ve ever owned. I love the rim and the shape. My dogs tail sent one flying on our tiled patio and it didn’t break. Amazing quality. They feel way more expensive than what I paid for them. So happy with them I bought more.

We had originally purchased a couple of handblown Gabrielglas wine glasses after reading great reviews of them. At about $38 a piece, they are "affordable" for hand-blown wine glasses. But we just didn't love the slightly bulbous bottom-heavy profile, and we use our wine glasses too frequently (!) to want to have to worry about each one that bites the dust. We returned them in favor of these big burgundy Zwiessel glasses, which we intend to use for both red and white. They are stunning! Modern in profile, with a fine lip and a "crystal-clear" shine. What's more, like all good wine glasses, they noticeably concentrate the aroma in the bowl and are a delight to drink from. (Note, for those that must have hand-blown glass, there is a "seam" on the foot of the glass if you really want to look hard for it, though it is not apparent to the touch.) We just bought 12 more to round out our collection to 16. At about $12 per glass, they're a steal!
