Great value on a very good dive watch!
Great watch for the money! It's hard to find an automatic mechanical movement watch at this price point - especially if you get it at a discount like I did. It's a big watch, but the design doesn't "feel" or look as big on the wrist as other 44mm cased watches - it has great symmetry. Like another review here - I also like that they used a Seiko movement. I was looking for s lower priced dive watch than others I also own (I started to think twice about diving with an expensive watch). This fit the bill and several months after purchasing it I find myself wearing it more often than any of my other watches. Huge value and a great watch (regardless of price).

Hour hand is too small. Hard to read

Great watch.
This watch is almost a clone of the Momentum M50 DSS but it has a nice military-inspired dial that I just love. Very clean and no cyclops over the date. It is an automatic with view back case. Otherwise the same high quality steel and sapphire crystal dial. Sapphire crystals have come down in price I think any watch over $100 should have it. Makes a huge difference, especially if you where your watch as a daily beater like I do with this watch. Highly recommended. The rubber strap is hard to put on so I bought a rubber strap off ebay with deployant buckle.

The Momentum M30 -- they got this one right.
Excellent product -- exceeded my expectations. I knew my long search for the perfect divers watch had ended the moment I unboxed the M30. This watch has an attractive, balanced dial and tasteful, clean architecture. A rare blend of subtile beauty and functionality. The M30 is destined to become another cult divers watch.

So…essentially a 2nd gen Seiko Monster, but at twice the price? No, thanks.

five stars
watch needed warranty service for some reason after several months of use. The company was very good to deal with, had rapid turn around time. This is my favorite watch, not too heavy, not too ostentatious, quality product.

Unique diver watch and great value
This is an amazing watch for the money (especially if you buy it at the currently reduced price)! The design is unique for a dive watch and I would describe it as "industrial" and a modern take on a classic style. The bead blasted case gives it a matte finish that justifies buying it if you already own several black dial diver watches with polished stainless steel cases (that would be me). Sure the hands and indexes are similar to the Seiko Monster, but aren't many other Seiko indexes similar to the Rolex Submariner? Ignore the review that says this is just an overpriced 2nd generation Seiko Monster - it is so much more: it has a larger case and dial (44mm), it has a sapphire crystal, and is rate to 300m (Monster is rated only to 200m). The bezel is only 60 clicks but very intentional in its purpose, easy to grip and won't turn accidentally - it also lines up with the pips as many Seikos do not. I am a Seiko watch fan and by Momentum using the Seiko NH35A movement it ensures a quality automatic movement that will be easy to service (any Seiko authorized repair shop can fix it). With a 22mm lug size it will also be easy to fit after market straps and bands on the unit. My only gripe about the watch is that due to the domed display back it sits relatively high on the wrist (but I wouldn't say it's more than a Victorinox Dive Master 500 - 15mm vs.14mm thickness). This is a great watch for your collection and I wouldn't hesitate to buy it especially if you can get it at a good discount.Note: I have the M30 on the metal band, but wanted to share my review.

Hard to beat for the price
The watch enjoys good reviews from the "diving business people" and having had mine for 2 weeks or so, I must agree with their assessments. The watch with a rubber band or an expansion band is a matter of preference, but it seems all agree that its rubber band is exceptional. Timekeeping is not a problem and water protection is far more than adequate. A long life battery and 6 year warranty rounds out the picture. Looks good on the wrist too!

Stellar dive watch!!
Ive had this and worn it every day for over a month now, so Ive decided to change my review a bit. So far this is the best watch ive ever purchased, having bought and returned more than I can count before finding this. Its a bit expensive, but its worth it, and if I could go back id still make the purchase again.Pros: -The case is finished in a nice gray that doesnt make the watch feel flashy or expensive, yet still looks good. The grey case and black strap go very well together. -The lume lasts forever, as long as its on your wrist during the day, even indoors, you will get constant, easily readable glow during the night. -The timing bezel is very precise, and takes a bit of effort to move, as it should. -The crown is high enough to allow complete wrist movement, and theres nothing that makes it uncomfortable.(All the items in the "Cons" section are very minor, and I wouldnt consider any of it a dealbreaker. Its mainly there in the hopes that someone at Momentum will see it if they ever decide to redesign this.)Cons: -I really dont like how long the minute divisions are. Id like to see them only be as long as the tics above the markers are. -The "Momentum Rotor Wind" on the display back feels a bit cheesy. If it was an in house movement or at least partially theirs id let it pass, but its 100% Seiko. Not that it really matters, since the watch rarely leaves my wrist. -For the price, the presentation could use some work. The paint on the box was worn and faded, and the whole thing looked like it cost about $3. It did its job in protecting the watch, but thats about it. I get that theyre a small brand, but still. -The timing bezel design is my least favorite thing about the watch, and would be the biggest area they could improve on if this gets redesigned. The luminous dot needs a ring or contrasting outline, otherwise it just looks like the paint has faded on the triangle indicator. Also, the wide bars and text dont fit the design, slimmer and more precise would be best. -The watch is pretty top heavy, and you have to be careful putting it on. A dive style clasp for the rubber strap would be a huge improvement, even if it bumped the price up a bit. -Potentially a downside if you dont like the vanilla smell of natural rubber. The band does have a strong vanilla scent at first from the rubber, but it goes away after a week or so. Personally I really liked the smell.
