Quite Happy
Very happy. Will purchase again. Still somewhat dusty, but way better than cheap student brands. Creamy and easy to layer. Holds to the surface and each other. Yet doesn't seem to get used up immediately! So so so happy with the increase in interesting, helpful colors. My favorite is gray rose, then red brown. Each color is a large enough step to be differentiated from one another, so no wasted colors. Helpful to beginners is the pigment labeling similar to other professional mediums. Only thing that could make me happier is even more. Would definitely recommend to students. Especially for finishing layers over harder brands. Cleans up off of my hands. For disclosure sake, the pictures I included mainly used this package but also some from sakura: the expressionist line, a deep purple gray from an old box of mungyo which I love and need replaced, and one color from a completely different brand... That pale blue green which I would love for this brand to offer. A gray blue would also be great. The first is used directly, the second image used a thinner and brush after initial application. I want to try them on canvas but these are on very toothy paper ( I like the texture). Supposedly that doesn't hold up through years but so far so good. This particular offering of pastels from Mungyo will be my new go to for self and students, it's definitely my favorite. I have never had the opportunity to use the more expensive brands, so I can't compare there.

They're for beginners imo
None came broken, extremely soft! Somewhat easily blended.. sorta. It doesn't bother me too much but for beginners you definitely get alot of vibrant, workable colors.

These made dust.
I accidentally purchased these instead of the gallery and I don't recommend them. The color saturation isn't as good and they make a ton of "dust". They also muddy up super fast when you are trying to blend.

True oil pastel
I love these oil pastels. I have bought a few different brands in the past however they were alway more waxing. These on the other hand are not they are a true oil pastel. they are easy to use and I definitely love the clips it comes with so my hands are as messy after I'm done.

Good for art
We appreciate you for your 'thanks' card and for the good packaging of the product. This is a very great Pastels Set with an eraser and two holders. This staff was recommended by our art teacher. And now we agree with her.
