I have a 12 year old Springer Spaniel with arthritis. She has trouble jumping down off the bed. The 3-step option is perfect for her. We tried ramps and another set of stairs that said it was for larger dogs, but the steps were way too small and she often fell. These are nice wide, deep, sturdy, carpeted stairs. It also breaks down easily to get it out of the way when we aren't using it, or to take with us. We didn't try the ramp side, but I definitely recommend these stairs.

Was a little disappointed. My dogs won’t use it. When you have the steps out (versus using it as a ramp) they don’t lock into place. Our little dog went up them and one of the stairs caught on his a little raising it up enough that that step collapsed. Since then she has been scared to go up or down it. Also, I think because the material covering the steps is dark it is not easy for them to see at night.

I ordered this product twice now.. BOTH had the same issue, Piece of the wood is completely cracked and broken.Wouldn't trust the quality for the safety of my senior dog.

We put it together but cannot get it to lay flat for storage without damaging the wood. As stairs they work perfectly. I think the ramp is a little to steep for our senior dogs.

Needs better support / slides and is a bit flimsie

Really solid stairs that both our 10lb dog and 60lb dog can use. The only drawback is that it slips a bit on hardwood so we had to add non-slip pads.

My dog and cats use it.
