You want the best for the money.... look no further.
Such excellent speakers... hard to even relate to how good they are. Compare SVS Prime elevation which are 4 inch drivers and a normal tweeter... $399 a pair. Now that these are $200 a pair... there is no contest. Not knowing these are actually $500 speakers... which was the original asking price, I can totally see why they are indeed above my expectations. You get a 6.5 inch horn loaded tweeter and 6.5 inch midrange driver and a bass radiator 5x7. What other rear speakers even come close to these? It's probably the best speaker purchase I've made value/quality wise since my Acoustic Research bookshelves at $168 plus shipping... which I forget... but still. Those MSRP were much higher but I caught them on a huge sale as well. The build quality is very decent.... but what you really get is the sound quality of much higher speakers. Are the cabinets the absolute best... no... but it's the sound that counts. Are they attractive... oh heck yea.... They look like professional movie theater surrounds on a smaller scale. Buy these... and buy them now. Look up my channel alphazoom as I am doing an unboxing and overview video of these speakers.

nice looking sound good
I received them well packed and I got them in two days. I'm liking them even though I've only had them about five hours, they are nice looking the finish has a nice high gloss black finish makes them look expensive. I will break these in to give a Better assessment, and once I get a Better feel for them. Took me no more then ten minutes to replace my old infinity speakers that I was using as surrounds. Wires can connect using bare wire, very nice. I have these on stands at ear hight, I'm not sure if I have them positioned correctly. I have these even with my couch with the tweeters towards the center of the room towards the TV. I will see what my TX-NR 818 Audyssey MultEQ®XT32 room correction does then I'll rerun audyssey once my break in period is done. I'm waiting on a new PL-28II center speaker that will be here tomorrow replacing my Formula FH6-LCR which I'll move into the den. daddy likes....UpdateI just switched these PL-66 to the front left and right and putting my FH-65B to the surround position I want the PL-66`s some steady audio to break them in a little faster I was wondering what they would sound like in the fronts as bookshelf and I'm very surprised they sound great and matches with my PL-28II. I had my main speakers toed in slightly to the main listening position. The PL-66 horns face me and the 6.5 inch woofers do their job. I will listen and enjoy this position for a week or so as mains I may leave it like this.I'LL Have to run audyssey again and report back.

Fantastic Surround Speakers, small quality issue
Picked up two pairs of these for my surround and surround back speakers in a 7.2 system. They mounted on the walls easily thanks to the built in mounts. They sound great and have perfect range for surround speakers.I knocked these down a notch because one of the four speakers I purchased had a non-functional tweeter after hooking them up. I took the speaker apart and the crossover had an inductor shorted out with a capacitor. After corecting this issue, the tweeter worked and everything sounded great. I only bring this up because if I weren't an electronic savvy user, I would have had to go through the process of returning these for a replacement.

Simply Amazing!
I have been a Bic Acoustech owner now for a few years, after reading many great things about their speakers online. I currently have the PL 26 center, Pl 78 towers, and now the PL 66 for the rears. I originally used Bic America FH-65B for my rears. The Bic America FH-65B sounds amazing but when using them as my rear speakers the sound was very shallow ( hard to hear) even with my receiver having the rear volume set at max. I decided to sell them and go with these PL 66 after seeing many used them for their rear channels. The frequency of these are truly amazing! Everything sounds so crystal clear, and I no longer have to have the volume set at max to hear them! They come with hangers to easily mount on the walls! I like fact that the tweeter faces the center of the room for perfect listening. For the price you get 110% of your moneys worth! These will compliment any horn speakers that you may have or plan to purchase!

My infinity powered sub started to go bad then finally quit and this led me to the ...
Wow, well let me start by saying that prior to this June I had never even heard of this company. My infinity powered sub started to go bad then finally quit and this led me to the bic f12 ( which I have reviewed) . I was scanning here on amazon and saw these surrounds and I was intrigued. I read several reviews here and at several audiophile websites and overall these surrounds were rated quite high. So with the price I decided to take the plunge and replace my infinity bookcase surrounds. First I will say that I love the look of these speakers with the mirror black finish. They look great mounted on my wall ( which was a piece of cake using the included mounting brackets (used wall anchors from a box store to mount them). Install took apps 10 minutes for me Once installed I switched on my amp and put in a blu ray of saving private ryan and I will say that immediately I noticed a greater surround field which I believe was a direct result of the horns being placed toward the listening zone. Also I noticed a tremendous improvement in the bass response from my surrounds as well. I mean even my wife who could care less about surround sound even said she thought they sounded much better than the old ones and that she could really hear the surround!! I am going to spend some time next week experimenting with crossover settings on my onkyo amp. I currently have the surrounds at 120hz crossover With the solid bass response of these I might try a bit lower crossover and see how it sounds. I am awaiting the larger center speaker with the horn and I can't wait to see how it matches up. I have always been a bit disappointed with my current center which is the largest infinity but it has always sounded muddy to me and I have spent countless hours tweaking it. If you are in the market for and upgrade to your basic bookshelf surrounds then you should check these out.

MORE CHINESE JUNK
Chinese junk... my kid could make a better case in wood shop class. The sound is horrible, the paint on the woofer has a run in it.
