Can't go wrong with Magpul.

Great patrol sunglasses. Not too expensive either. Most people in the department were wearing Oakleys and Ray Bans. I just couldn't justify forking out that much money on some sunglasses that I'll be beating up everyday. This did the job. I can see any electronic screens without the need of taking them off. They don't fatigue your head either. I patrolled a coastal area and saltwater was always in the air. I still use this sunglasses to this. Minor issue is the hinge pins do push out ever so slightly. I just push them back in with my thumb. But nothing that a superglue won't be able to fix. That's the only reason why I took away a star from this review.

2nd pair i got and love them but they just don’t last the lenses get all funky like delaminating or something

Lenses are very comfortable to look through. However they get scratchED no replacement lenses available no service available from magpul to refurbish.

I bought 2 pairs of these. The grey polarized lens sunglasses and clear for shooting. The sunglass lenses are gas station quality. The inside of the lenses developed huge fingernail size scratches the first time I cleaned them, with the provided microfiber bag. Everytime I've cleaned them since then more of the inner coating has scratched off. I used to make prescription sunglasses in a lab. I know how to and how not to clean glasses. Apparently you can't sweat in these sunglasses. Pretty terrible quality for a 20$ pair of glasses, let alone close to 100$. Literally the first time I wiped them it looked like I'd scratched straps across the lenses with my fingernails. Fingernails shouldn't remove the coatings, the cleaning cloth or a clean cotton t-shirt certainly shouldn't. I started washing them in fresh water before I wiped them. Made no difference, the coating still peels off. Seems off for Magpul but it is what it is.

While I am a Magpul fanboy, I wasn't always one. I thought their single original product was a joke when it used to be advertised in the back of magazines. Like their gun belt, slings, DAKA wallets, BUISs, furniture , and of course, PMags, this product is well designed, well manufactured, and performs perfectly. The design looks oddly close to another famous company's models of thermonuclear eye protection(I have owned over a dozen of that company's eye protection models). These shades provide top notch clarity, perfect fit and comfort, and cost 1/3 of the price. I also appreciate the nice plastic hard case they come in as I will be using these to drive. Very happy with yet another Magpul product!
