Are you not sure? Just buy it already. The image quality is just decent, but all the other perks outweigh the flaws. It's incredibly cheapIt's super thin, thinner than a pancake lens and so lightweight you forget you have it attached to your camera bodyIt gives film-like vibesShort focusing distanceYou can work on hyperfocal, perfect for street photographyAmazing bang for your buck, did I say that already? Just buy it, you won't regret it.

My phone takes better pictures
Used this on a canon M camera, apsc. It's certainly very slim and makes the camera pocketable but the Image Quality was not good. If you want a slim point and shoot, may as well use a mobile. My pixel 8 is hugely superior at snap shots.I should add, the version supplied was the version 2 and not the original with the clock face like in the pictures

Great for the price!
I wasn’t really expecting much but I’m honestly pleasantly surprised! It’s so lightweight and captures crisp images. I wanted something to use for documentary and every day snaps and this little lens is perfect for that.

it's light
it's not very sharp for my needs but you get what you pay for it's ok but at a locked 6.3 you would think it would focus clearly.

Cheap fixed focus 18mm lens
I liked the price. I found I had to tune the focus by undoing the screws on the back and turning the lens. This was easy though, and it is now quite sharp. This is a useful cheap, small and light lens (on micro 43). There is no lens cap though, so I am a bit concerned about damaging it. Overall pleased with it for the price.

What more could you want?
An absolutely brilliant tool.Is it sharp outside of the centre? No. Is it fast? No. Is it expensive? No!If you want absolute image quality, or loads of bokeh, or autofocus, this lens is obviously not for you. If you want to be able to slide a smaller camera body straight into your pocket, or make your EDC everyone more EDCable, this lens is perfect for the job.Does exactly what it says on the tin and will more or less live on my X-e3.

Not sharp enough
Lens is not sharp, and it is for crop sensor . Not for fullframe

Fun little lens, feels like lomo.
You get what you pay for, and this lens has some issues. No auto focus, some vignetting. All this does not matter though because it is such a fun and easy to use lens. Pop it on the camera and have fun, and fun it is. Large depth of field so focus is not a major issue. Nice and flat.Makes me feel like I'm shooting lomo.

Thin, Dark, and Retro. This lens is awesome.
For $60? Come on, this thing is awesome. Solid metal construction, zero complaints there. Focus ring throw is 1/4 turn of the whole lens, so it's easy to whip focus around if you need to, but realistically you'll be at the "∞" setting all the time. Being fixed at F6.3 means that, at the infinity setting, anything from about 2 ft away to infinity will be in focus. So you won't likely touch the focus ring much / ever.Essentially, this lens is a point-and-shoot dream. Never have to touch focus, not wasting battery on AF motors, no choices to make. Just turn on the camera and fire the shutter! Extremely easy. 18mm is a nice choice, too. Plenty of room to capture your scene. Before IQ, I can't stress enough how _small_ this lens is. It's a brilliant fit on my X-Pro3, with the front edge of the lens just a couple millimeters further out from the built-in grip! I have several XF lenses and nothing comes close to making the X-Pro3 feel like a true rangefinder than this one. It's actually even smaller (thinner) than my X100V. Neat! Carry this thing anywhere.Okay, image quality. This is not a clinical, sharp, corporate-headshots / product-images type lens. It's $60. Go get your $2k G-master for that. What this lens is, is a very filmic piece of glass. Does it have some vignetting on the edges? Yep. Is it slow? Yep — F6.3, especially indoors, means high ISO. Does is somehow blend with the X-Trans IV's high-ISO grain (and/or JPG grain settings) to give you brilliant film-y images with BEAUTIFUL film grain? Absolutely. No idea how it does this, but it just does. The photos I shoot through this lens (particularly with Classic Neg or Acros) look more filmic than pretty much any other lens I shoot.Would I try this lens on the X-Trans V 40MP sensors? Probably not. Would I try it on the older sensors? Absolutely. What this lens doesn't have in resolution resolving power it totally makes up for in character and filmy style. That pairs great with the 26MP X-Trans VI and I can only imagine even more-so on the older sensors. For $60 and Amazon's return policy... give this thing a try. It's great. It'll take you to a simplistic place with your photography that's just "frame and shoot".

Better than I thought
The lens works well with my Olympus MFT camera using manual focus. Fun to play around with.

Affordable Stealth Lens
With this lens attached to my Sony a5100 I have a very pocketable 24MP camera. Although the lens quality is mediocre, at $98 Canadian shipped one cannot complain. It’ll bring out the best in you as an amateur photographer. Excellent buy.
