Wonderful pictures, great story beautifully written. Divine interiors, manly and gracious at once. One of the best decor books out there. You Must own this book if the subject is close to you.

Good value and a lot to see. If I have a complaint it is about the photography, most of the photos are too dark and one cannot see the details very well. Wonderful text and describes everything which is unusual. I will be giving this book as presents to my friends and family.

A close look at the developing sensibility of a classic 20th Century collector and decorator. If we think of the room as the essential unit of both traditional gardens & homes, Robert Kime is the great arranger. His rooms are glorious as well as intimate and full of lovely things whose varied histories are part of the charm the rooms cast.

If you love traditional Interior Design this book is a must. No wonder Clarence House chose Mr Kime as his style is beautiful, understated elegance.I love this book.
