Not sure about the decade span the title suggests in the 8191 since the first album represented here is the self title ep released in 83 up to this release in 91. But it does span the Atlantic years nevertheless.What you get are tracks presented in chronological order from the 83 ep Ratt through 1990s Detonator and a soundtrack inclusion from Point Break released in 1991 to finish out the tracks.Each album is represented with 2-4 tracks that were either released as singles/music videos or generally the strongest tracks from each. Interestingly enough they went with a massive 5 tracks from Detonator. The intro to Shame is included as part of the track which is a nice bonus and not found on the newer compilation mentioned below.Inside there is some general info about remastering and track/band info. There is also a small narrative and a band photo. An unreleased/live/demo track thrown in or a little bit more in the booklet would have been a nice bonus.There has been a newer release entitled Tell The World with a haphazard track listing, a poor remaster and a few forgettable tracks from newer albums included which still keeps this as the one to own.

This cd is 32 years old. I bought it used but it sounds like it's brand new! I'm VERY happy with this purchase!
