Great book for college came right on time!

The book came with access codes for a digital version of it but the front pages of the textbook came ripped. I’ll provide a photo of the day I received the item. I hope I’m not charged for the condition it came in.

Great rental price for one of my school classes.

Don't get me wrong, I appreciate salvaging and reusing. But charging "as new?"I mend books as a job, so I can recognize tip-ins and damage to the textblock. There is clearly evidence of salvaging this book so it can be sold. There are pages that are obviously replacements (font size and color do not match the rest of the book), I can clearly see where pages were glued back in, and there is evidence that the textblock itself was glued back to the case.Not surprising, as mass paperback publishing make flimsy books these days that are meant to fall apart quickly.However, not happy that I paid full price for a book that was clearly slapped back together.I held off on the review, but now that I have read through it and seen the book in its entirety, I wanted to warn others.

The book is great. The subject is well organized and easy to appreciate from the text as written.
