This has been great for making iced tea & adding a bit of mint, lemon, etc. The 'glass' is crystal clear. It looks fragile but is holding up well so far. The larger size is useful.

Holds a good amount of liquid, and therefore a very large amount of submersible infusion material. What I'm saying is the jasmine tea I make needs about 2.5 TBs for this pitcher but the pitcher can easily hold 10. So no matter what you need to filter into the water it's got you covered.For a version 2 could you make the little legs of the lid wider, or maybe add more than 3? When I'm just generally handling the filter portion while it's attached to the lid without the top being on, it has a habit of falling through. If the little legs went all the way around the filter lip it wouldn't have the chance but since the filter can tilt without the lid on (see it's a 3 part lid, the filter, the filter catching part (the part that indexes into the actual lid), and the lid. So when you just have the filter sitting in the filter catching part of the lid when tilted it can sometimes fall through the lid. Once the actual lid portion is pressed into it, it secures the filter portion to the filter catching part of the lid, so everything is fine then. But before that, it can go through if manipulated a certain way. It feels like I'm just rambling but I'm trying to point out a flaw in the design that dosent and hasn't ever had me drop it, or lose my tea that was in the filter, but is annoying from time to time when I clean and reassemble it.

This is a solid container for whatever liquid you want. I purposely bought it for cold brew coffee. Had been using a stainless steel French Press previously, now retired for hot brew only again. The capacity of this glass container is great. Have had zero issues with sturdiness and no chipping or cracking at all for any reason after a month of use. Infuser is plenty large enough to fill with as little or as much of your favorite coffee grinds as you want. The lid and rubber gasket that secures at all together all fit flush and close up nice. The only issue is the holes in the infuser, while they are tiny... they still allow some of the smaller grinds to slip through. I use a large grind for the French Press. It's a miniscule amount so not a major issue. Usually any residual grinds settle at the bottom and will only infiltrate your very last cup poured from your batch. Can easily be resolved by pouring the last cup through a filter or cheese cloth to catch any of the lingering grinds. Otherwise, this items is great! And I intend to buy a couple more.

What I like most is that the lid is designed so you can pour with enthusiasm without dribbles. I only purchased the metal diffuser insert, as it can be used for cold as well as hot. We have bottle brushes to clean the insert, I’ve seen that others had expressed difficulty to clean the insert, I don’t see it as any notable issue, if you have the appropriate tools.

We all know water is imperative, but It's Not Fun drinking plain water, so get a pitcher with an infuser to make fruited or herb waters. Oh yeah, make sure the product is glass & this infuser insert is stainless so no pfas!

Poor quality. Glass is very thin. It broke the first time I used it for Thanksgiving

Very nice size, didn't break when I put the just boiled water. Beautiful and sleek design.The inside of the metal container is hard to clean because its long and you cannot reach the bottom I guess this can be solved with a long brush that would be nice if it were included. The glass is a bit thinner than I expected but it's not that thin either.:)

it’s a great container! why on earth would the lid not lock into place? you pour, the lid falls off. super annoying
