This is exactly what I needed to get a decent wifi signal in the back of my house and on my patio. The signal was blocked by the fireplace and this device has resolved the problem. It made a significant improvement to streaming video and firestick performance. The device is compact and, if plugged into the bottom outlet, leaves enough space for another plug. The WPS setup didn't work for me, but was easy to setup from my phone following the provided instructions. This definitely extended my wifi signal and I would recommend giving it a try.

The only thing we could basically do with this is plug it in. We would never buy this even to save our lives. We have been trying to set up a Blink Video Camera and it said we might need a extender for our WiFi, so we bought one and this is what we got. It looks fine but when we get it to turn on we can’t find the “WiFi” it apparently came with. We have been trying to set the blink up since Thursday and this just made it a longer process. So now, we had to call Brandonburg Telephone Comp. (our WiFi service) and get to pay 10 more dollars a month for more speed on our internet. So after days of doing everything, we find out that this “extender” is a waste of money. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!! We normally like everything we get from Amazon unless something is broken on accident or doesn’t fit. But Amazon I’m ashamed you would put this up for sell. I now some (about 1%) didn’t have a problem well 45 second set up my BUTT!!

Easy set even though my router doesn't have a WPS button, used Set Up #2 in the provide instruction. Router 1500 sq ft away from the extender used at opposite end of home to extend wifi signal through many interior walls. I could stream movies outside by my pool without any buffing! I would have given this extender 5 stars However after 2 weeks of using this extender the signal starting dropping, having to unplug & plug back in! Sometimes this didn't help without have to factory reset then set up this devise again. Total weird, may have to get a replacement or return for refund. I had another brand of extender I was using for about 4 years didn't have as good of a range some buffing plus my internet provider upgraded there system to 3.1 router from the 3.0 and old extender no longer compatible 🙁 So disappointed

I did not like having to purchase an add on to security. Should have been able to use my security on my Netgear device. The free security, once it expired after 2 weeks changed the device functionality and it had poor extender capabilities. It was basically worthless unless I purchased the add on security package. Bunch of crap.

I am a cord cutter and stream tv. Nothing more frustrating than buffering when watching movies, sports, or news. Got this and the directions were not intuitive as I have had others that were simpler but once complete definitely a welcome addition to my home network. So HAPPY with this purchase.

Unfortunately, I purchased the extender before leaving on vacation and the window to return it (30 days) has passed or I would ship it back. The instructions are poorly written and confusing - I doubt it was written by someone with a strong command of English, due to the irregular grammar and syntax. I tried the written instructions in the box, the online version and even the video - no luck getting internet to my device. The IP address given would not come up either.

Excellent product now I have more signal in my room

This was incredibly easy to install and really improved signal on the far side of my house - our WiFi router is in the basement and now I have a strong signal at the front of the house. Well worth the money! Also, it’s small and pretty compact against the wall.
