Very salty.
Came in a plastic jar. Probably better for transport. Very big berries. So large and awesome. Overly salty. Just keeps you from eating too many. That’s the bummer and plus all in one.

Outstanding Quality & Value!
These are wonderful, delicious, and the size of olives. Yes they’re VERY salty, but you can soak a bunch in water (replace the water several times) and put them in a smaller jar. Most people don’t know that caperberries have extraordinary nutritional benefits!

Plastic jar, big fruits with lots of hard seeds
I love caper berries/fruit! I always have some at home. I will not buy this one again. It comes in a plastic jar, not in the glass jar as shown in the picture. And berries are surprisingly big, they are overripe and full of harder stones...And there is no return option. Very disappointing.

Perfect texture!
It’s always a challenge to find good quality caperberries. First time I tried them it was at an Italian restaurant in LA about 17 years ago. I started looking everywhere for them...once in a while I’ll come across them at some Italian market. Problem was, it was not easy to find good quality caperberries. Some times they would be too hard, others too soft (this is the worst). Finally I found this ones for the first time at a restaurant in Mammoth. I glad to find I could keep getting them from Amazon! Perfect texture and saltiness. I totally recommend it!

Didn't realize how salty they were
I LOVE capers, so I was so excited to learn of the existence of caper berries. I was sure I would find countless uses for them, so I had no issues buying such a big jar. Delivery and packaging were great, they arrived quickly. They were far saltier than capers are and have a very different flavor. They are just not what I expected, but I don't hold that against the product. The quality was good! If you know you like caperberries or very salty foods, these are perfect!

Delicious and addictive!
If low sodium is your thing, either rinse well or stay away from the caperberries. I love them. I've ordered several brands on Amazon but this one is the best. Very flavorful, great deal for the jar size and perfect for cooking or snacking. I've ordered a few jars now, they're that good.

Explode your taste buds
If you never have never had a caper berry you are in for a treat. Try them with your favorite Gin or Vodka, or just by themselves. These aren't the wimpy caper berries you get from Espania. Nibble the top of these wonderful delights. Your taste buds will explode with the intense flavor that is released. Then, tease your tongue across the fruit to release a single seed (berry), and enjoy it all again. Luxuriate in the explosion of how your taste buds are caressed. Continue, until your drink or caper berry is extinguished. Then, start again.

SALTY! Found a FIX
The caperberries were so salty, they were inedible. BUT, I fixed them. First, I poured off all the brine leaving nothing but the caperberries* and filled the jar back up with water and a splash of vinegar. This sat overnight in the fridge. In the morning, they were still too salty so, I poured the water vinegar mix off the caperberries and refilled with water and about half a cup of vinegar. This sat overnight again in the fridge. By morning they were fine. Hurray!*(If this happens again, because, yes, I'll buy them again, at this point I'll only fill the jar about 3/4 full of water, put the lid on and shake the jar, then pour off the water before filling with the water/vinegar mix.)
