Very stiff but quite effective.
This Monoprice 14 ga. Is really outstanding. I use only pure copper wiring. There is no substitute for audiophile quality. I had two runs of 50 ft. plus through the ceiling, across the attic, then down through the ceiling to both the speakers locations. Although this cable is stiff and a bit tougher to work with, being in the attic, I am covered in case of fire. I was a bit price shocked but after finishing the install and listening to the two Polk S20,s this cable feeds, all I can say is WOW. THIS CABLE IS SUPERB and should last for many years. Will buy again when needed.

Marine speaker LED application
Used this to wire my boat speakers on wake tower with speaker leds and rings LEDs.(no audio-lighting only) Was hard to find real "copper" wire as needed for marine. Couldn't find specs but looks like OFC amd good quality. Easy to work with, even has an Internal thread that can be pulled to "strip" off out sheathing. Great design - monoprice is always topshelf!

High quality copper wire, stiff sleeving. Good for in wall, not flexible enough for DIY cables
The copper wire inside is high quality and has a high strand count. The individual strands are quite small and easy to bend/twist/etc. The quality of the conductors is great and is just as good as any other 14AWG "audiophile quality" speaker wire. No complaints regarding the insides. The outer plastic wrap around the 4 conductors is not very flexible, neither is the plastic wrap around each individual conductor. In bending the individual conductors, the plastic sleeving changed from red/green/black to white because the plastic was developing surface cracks from being flexed. Somewhat disappointing considering this speaker wire is advertised as using flexible materials. The sleeving is very thin so that will be good for in wall use. I bought this to use for DIY speaker cables and it worked okay, but I'd rather have a more flexible wire.

Good price for good wire
Appears to be solid wire. Using about 20ft of it as the control wire for the winch on my trailer, converted it from the stock plastic 3-pin connector to a metal round 4-pin (this also gives me a dedicated ground for a lighted switch in the controller). The overall OD of this product is too small for the connectors I used, but that's not the product's fault. Haven't used it for speaker wire yet but after using the standard 2 wire speaker wire for years I think this will be a great upgrade in my wiring scheme's when I get around to using it as intended.Didn't see the standard California lead warning on the product but I assumed it does and made sure to wash my hands after handling it. It could be buried under all the wire or I could have simply not seen it on the spool as I didn't actually look for it, better safe than sorry.

Good stuff. Orders are a bit slow. Plan ahead.
Has the feel of Mic cable. I like using it. Only reason to not use it would be that you need it faster like when you are up against an inspection timeline and you need more.

Solid Copper Slim Speaker Wire
This was perfect for running speaker wire to my door speakers in my 4 door suv. The slim design makes it easier to hide under the plastics. I have Alpine 6 1/2 inch door speakers that are 80 watts rms and 280 max. I'm using an old Jensen amp that's 4 channel with 760 watts max. Even though the speaker wire seems narrow it still does its job. The quick connect leads that came with the Alpine speakers are half the thickness, so I pitched them and just soldered the wires directly to the speakers. I use a butane soldering iron on electronics to keep from frying them. I may be going deft early with this setup, but for the time it seems worth it. Would highly recommend for similar use.

Worked
Perfect for what I needed

Stiff, but good quality.
The shielding is pretty stiff and it's kinda thick.I used this to install 4 ceiling speakers and the 4 wires per run was very useful! If you have tight fits the maneuverability might be tricky but leads me to believe it's well insulated (which is what you want for in wall installs)
