Wow… this dog jacket is much warmer and heavier than I was expecting! Super impressed. I’m actually kind of jealous that my pup will be warmer than me! She loves camping with me but gets cold and starts to shiver pretty quickly, even in the summer. I like to winter camp almost as much as summer camping, so I had to find her something warm AND waterproof for those multi day trips. Most dog jackets are too light weight for winter, only cover the dog’s back, and are rarely waterproof. My pup was always cold and totally miserable when it rained and she had a traditional jacket. I can’t wait to get her out in this thing this weekend!I ordered a size 60cm/24in, based on the size chart. It is pretty big on her, but the various drawstrings allowed me to cinch it up for a good fit. The drawstring design is AWESOME! I do wish there were drawstrings on the actual sleeves to shorten them though. The front sleeves are super long for her, and I’m hoping that with them buttoned tight they won’t slide off while she’s on the move. I will be sure to update if we have issues with the size after testing it out on our next camping trip.UPDATE:My pup was toasty warm in this snowsuit, but I did have to knock off two stars after testing it out on a weekend camping trip.-1 star for inaccurate sizing guide. 24 inch size fits perfect for all other pup clothing items except this one. My pup is swimming in this snowsuit though. With everything cinched up, it fit better, but the legs are way too long and the buttons don’t make the sleeve openings tight enough to keep it from sliding down over her paws when she wants to run and then her tail gets stuck down along her leg.-1 star for poop accessibility. Perhaps if it fit better this wouldn’t be an issue, but we had a poop disaster night one. Couldn’t figure out (in the dark) why my pup seemed so upset and just laid down for most of the early evening when she’s usually mouse hunting. But when I went to take her snowsuit off before bed, I quickly realized the issue! When she pooped, it smooshed all over the back of her. So at midnight, in 30 degrees, had to try to wash dog poop off a cold and embarrassed pup. The following days, she would cry whenever she had to poop and I would have to pull her back legs out and tie the snowsuit legs onto her back until she was done. NOT IDEALUpdate to my Update:Back to 5 Stars!!!!I reached out to the seller of this item to inquire about exchanging for a smaller size. They let me know they couldn’t do an exchange, but offered me a refund without return so I could order the correct size for my dog. She measured 24 inches, but the size 24 was HUGE on her, so I ordered a size 20 instead. Fits PERFECT! No more issues with the sleeves being too long or not staying up, and no poop issues! My pup was out playing in the snow with no complaints. Aaaaand, I was able to donate the too big snowsuit to a local mobile veterinary clinic that services animal parents experiencing homelessness… just in time for a wicked and unusual winter storm to hit.

At first, I was worried that the overall wouldn't fit based on previous experiences with other coats/sweaters, but the people at Hurtta really know what they're doing. This overall suit is worth every. single. penny. The only thing I can think of for an improvement is to make it easier to put on. It's snug, which is tough with my leggy boy, but it's also nice to know that it isn't loose. Overall (pun intended), the absolute best winter wear I've gotten for my boy. Thank you Hurtta!!! Keep up the great work!!P.S. Is there a possibility of you guys making a suit with integrated booties? Maybe to connect with the leg snaps?

This is an absolute fabulous product! Well done! Definitely make sure you go by the length of your dog. Adjustable. Like a kids snowsuit!

This fits my wide-chested, stubby legged staffordshire bull terriers perfectly. It does not inhibit their movement at all and it performed well at keeping them warm. It did get a little wet after a while but compared to other brands, the water resistance is pretty good for doggy technical wear. If this were truly waterproof or goretex then it’d be perfect. I’m just happy that this fit both my dogs odd shaped bodies so well.

I could see this working well for certain dogs. I have a 90 lb male Doberman so I ordered the largest size. It is a little long but if I got the smaller size, it would ride up too far in his hind legs. He is thick and athletically tapered and it just fits weird. I think a ganglier dog might fit better. Either way, it is nicely made, durable, and keeps my dog warm when he is sitting stagnant in the car in the Colorado winters.

My GSP loved his new coat. Great product and material. It keeps him nice and toasty. Great reflective prints. Will buy another one for our other GSP.

This jacket is amazing. Keeps my dog super warm even during single digits days. Hurrta makes the most durable and warm jackets ever. They are worth every dollar!

Der Mantel passt meinem AmStaff gut. Länge 55M trägt er auf dem Bild und ist auch die ermessen Größe.Eine Nr größer als gemessen sitzt an der Brust allerdings doch etwas besser und der Rücken kann dann problemlos angepasst werden. 60M kann auch etwas einfacher angezogen werden.Beide Größen halten super warm (er hat durch einen Gendefekt fast kein Fell am Rücken).Die Aussparungen im Schritt sind bei beiden so bemessen das Urin und Kot nicht im Mäntelchen hängen bleiben. Die Beinweite kann angepasst werden. Alles in allem wurde das Mäntelchen nach 3 Minuten akzeptiert und im Schnee getollt. Ist es jedoch etwas nass spritzt das Wasser durch die Bewegung der Vorderpfoten in die Achseln und durchnässt den Stoff etwas. Das trocknen dauert dann wie erwartet schon in etwa 1 Tag ( ohne Heizung) - die Region sollte nochmals etwas imprägniert werden. Ansonsten ein tolles , etwas teures Produkt, mit dem ich bedenkenlos auch mal weiter im Schnee mit ihm laufen kkann.würde allerdings bei einer breiten Brust 1 Nr größer empfehlen.

Tolles Material,die Druckknöpfe an den Beinen sind mehr wie unpraktisch,weil sie nicht zugehen,mein Labi hat schwere Athrose und ED 3.das Anziehenist mehr wie mühsam,weil sich dieVorderbeine nicht gut abknicken lassen um in den Anzug zu kommen🙊ist er endlich drin ist der Anzug genial

I had trouble finding the right size for my dog from this Hurtta model, but now we cannot be happier with the purchase and all of its advantages. Not only it does the job perfectly, but also looks very cute on my dog :-) Highly recommend!

Super justierbar mit verschiedenen Bändern und Reißverschlüssen. Wirkt dünn, aber hält super warm - auch bei Schnee und Eis!
