Works great.
I’m a commercial sump pump and drain installer. We use these units in our sump pump basin’s. These units here are 30% cheaper than the box stores, and do the same exact job. We stock up on a couple of them every time we get low.

It works
Just as advertised 👍👍

Great unit for the price
Inline check valve works great but I didn't realize you shouldn't use it on applications with solids in the line. Ended up clogging on my pond intake side but was great on the output side

Did not work well.
Although this will work on a forced flow such as pumped water, it did not work well on my drain pipes where as the water flow work by gravity. The springs inside the valves have too much tension for the water to open the valve to drain. Springs of much lesser tension could be installed to make these valves useful for drain pipes.

Clear Water ONLY
This is a good product in the correct application. I installed these to prevent priming problems on a swimming pool. They worked great for a week or two. Lawn mower clippings and small leaves made their way it into the main drain and skimmers. The check valve clogged and water flow came to a complete stop. If you must use a check valve in your system, 1) best if you only have "clear, clean Water". 2) If there is only occasional debris get a clear check valve so you can see the debris and make sure it is threaded for removal and cleaning. The valves were a real clogging problem in my "leafy" situation. I removed the valves, but it was not the fault of the valves. I used them in the wrong application.

Will work great
Attempting to build a custom siphon system that uses a sump pump to prime the line. I needed a 1 way valve on the siphon part of the system with the lowest flow resistance possible. Regular flapper valves are too stiff. I pulled the spring out of this 1 way valve and it will work perfectly for my needs. Almost no resistance to crack open since gravity pulls it closed. The spring and spring seat are slightly magnetic so they might rust at some point. The little screw holding them in isn’t magnetic. Not sure how well it holds pressure, but for my needs I don’t have to worry about that.

Well made but reduces flow
It appears that the way the valve is constructed it effectively turns an 11/2” pipe into a 11-4” pipe due to the internal constriction.
