PetZu Mother's Comfort Heartbeat Pet Pillow, Pink/White

Only reason I give it 4 stars is because it doesn't do super great in the washing machine (inevitable ends up there since puppies poop quite a bit). But even after about a dozen washes it still generally works, it is just a bit lumpier than at first. Overall a pretty great product.

Really works for our 8 week old puppy!!!

Got a 6 week old puppy and, of course, she had an accident overnight. Tossed the pillow in the wash and it exploded . . . all the fluff on the inside was all over my washer. The heartbeat worked great, warmed it up the first night and that was great as well. For the 3 days it was a pillow it was great. It is now a flat pillow case.

This is a wonderfully designed pillow, but heed the instructions (!!!) - don’t over-microwave the warming beads. I goofed, waved it for 2 minutes instead of 1, and it was a melted, stinky, smokey mess. But the pillow even without the warming pouch is sweet. The “heartbeat” is actually a ticking like a clock and is not very loud so if your dog is hard of hearing (ours was) they probably won’t hear it. I would have preferred the ticking continue until you turn it off, but unfortunately it automatically shuts off after something like 10 minutes (I’m sure to save batteries). But our senior dog often slept with his head on it :-). I probably wouldn’t pay more than $30 for it, but at that price it’s a great tool.

The pillow seemed to work fairly well in the sense that our puppy fell asleep a little better. The thing is, when you warm up the pouch, the pillow doesn't get any warmer when it's inside. Also it says it's washable and I put it in the washer with just 2 other towels and the whole thing got shredded and has to be thrown out. I won't be buying one of these again because of those reasons.

I was skeptical that something like this would work as advertised. Our puppy would whine and cry for hours at times making it very hard to sleep. When sleep came it was short lived as I would need to wake up and take her out in the middle of the night. The first night we used it, there was zero crying and whining. My alarm goes off in the middle of the night and I was surprised to see her perfectly fine still. She slept for 6 hours. This product is amazing. I highly recommend it.

We bought this for our new puppy, and were very pleased for the first few days. On the third day when we put the heat pad in the microwave, it melted and got a hole after being in there for only 45 seconds. If not for that, I would have given it 5/5.

What a life saver!! My 10 week old King Charles cavalier absolutely loves this pillow! I honestly didn’t think it would help that much but she noticeably sleeps better and is crate training so smoothly because of it. The heartbeat only stays on for about 12-15 minutes but it seems to be enough for her so far. Quality material and seems to be cozy!
