Does the job
I installed one on a crimp style male connector. Just enough space for the wires inside the shell.

Cheap dsub 15 shell, works.
The 10 connector covers came individually packaged. Two of the 10 had missing hardware. Between the two you could make a ninth shell. Not bad for the price, but not commercial grade!!

Works good no real problems
Not much to go wrong with a plastic case. I gave only 4 stars as a couple were missing a nut. Was no big deal as I has some in my misc drawer.

Had a few missing screws/nuts
Had a few missing screws/nuts, I've had to open 5 to get 3 full covers. It'd be nice if these also came with receiving screws to screw this side into to but they don't.

screws that hold this hood/connector to the mating connector were all defective. I returned these.
