The real “SQUEEZE” over the past several years has been on my wallet. I need to get a “GRIP.”This didn’t work for me. Neither did a half dozen precious hand exercisers. I wanted equal resistance at all extended ranges of motion with an equal workout for all five digits…and no peeling paint stuck on my fingers.I hate springs and blisters. All hand exercisers I’ve tried have one thing in common, they get boring quickly because they are so limited in use.How would you like to have 10 to 15 great custom made hand exercisers for a dollar? That’s what dollar stores charge. You might pay $3.00 in a drug or grocery store. It’s a foam tube pool toy, 5-feet long, 3-inches in diameter with a 1-inch hole in the middle. They come in a variety of neon colors to match any decor. Start by cutting off a section the size of a bagel or softball with a sharp filet knife and experiment. I started with a 6-inch section. You can squeeze from end to end, side to side or just on one end. You can even squeeze with both hands at once. Cut the size that fits your hand and works the best for you. You can even slice at an angle for more variations, squeezing with one hand and rotating your new toy with the other is addictive. Cutting a 6-inch section in half down the middle is great for ladies or for small hands. If you are Superman, cut a cigar-shaped piece and fill the center hole to add extra resistance. I like a section whereby I can insert my thumb in the hole in one end and 2 or 3 fingers in the other end and not be able to touch the tips of my thumb and fingers. Once I’ m able to touch them with ease, I cut a bigger chunk and start over. This material is tough and durable. These highly flexible and colorful devices make great cat toys. If I forget and leave one by my computer when I go to bed, the cats play floor hockey all night long. The possibilities are only limited by one’s imagination.Instead of wasting money on somebody else’s expensive invention and giving it 2 stars, create one that works for you and give it 5 stars. You’re the boss.

Great hand exercising.
Really like the levels of difficulty. Helpful with at-home physical therapy and hand exercise. Fits in hand well and materials are easy to grip without feeling like they will slip from you hand.

They work, but not sure how long they will last.
I purchased these to help with therapy after fracturing my hand. I am still a bit surprised how such a small fracture can affect my hand. Well after the fracture was supposedly healed, I have experienced pain and weakness in my hand. The large size is indeed large, ideal for my rather large hands. Anyway, these had a good range of resistance, although I have yet to make it past the three lower resistance balls (wimp I guess, or more likely lazy). They do seem to have a good gradation in resistance, so no complaints there. The final ball is tough and the first is very easy to squeeze without fatigue. My main complaint is that the outside printing is not fairing so well, with the lowest resistance ball's printing quickly eroded (being the most used). I have not managed to wear through the actual outer surface in a few weeks of use, so that is positive. Just something to be aware of.

Works for me.
I broke my wrist--shattered it, actually--and had an operation that required two plates and a bunch of screws, etc., which meant that recovery was going to take quite some time, and the muscles for my wrist, forearm and hand would need a lot of work to regain their strength. My physical therapist had me use this brand of hand exerciser during my appointments, so I got the same brand for home use. I started with the light (red) Digi Squeeze, then "graduated" to this medium (green) one. Works well, no complaints.

Pianist Gets Relief for Arthritic Hands!
I got these for my husband who just got his beautiful Steinway back from string replacement "surgery" but couldn't play much due to arthritis in his hands. He tried each ball in turn - just like Goldilocks! - and found the one that is "just right" for him. He's been playing every night for up to an hour with much less pain and much more flexibility. Such a little thing - such a big difference!

but I could see how others might be annoyed that it peeled off so quickly
Bought a large, but probably could have used a Medium. I would say I have about average Male adult hands, and the large is just a little too big but still totally usable. The blue resistance provides a firm strong squeeze that tires my hands out after using it for a while. The gray printing on the finger sections and the front has almost entirely peeled off after only about a weeks use, but this has no effect on the use of this product. Doesnt really both me at all, but I could see how others might be annoyed that it peeled off so quickly. Something you are constantly squeezing in your hand however, this should be expected.

Good Physio/Exercise Balls, 1 Problem
I bought these when recovering from a broken arm. This type of exercise ball was recommended by my physician, as it seems that the hand gets most messed up in this type of injury. They work great for that purpose, with one limitation - the gap between the medium (green) and heavy (blue) is too large. The green becomes too soft and squishy as the injured hand heals, but the heavy blue ball still feels rock hard.So I ended up using the medium green ball for 7 weeks post cast/brace removal, before graduating to the heavy blue ball. Not ideal.I can't comment on the lighter colours, because I only used the light red one for one day in total before jumping to the green.

Help build strength after wrist fracture
I had a wrist fracture with plate & screws, it’s v important to start physio early & once the bone heals to start exercising these are v portable and help rebuild strength in an incremental way
