TowerT838005C Sensor Bin with Retainer Ring, Battery-Operated, 50L, Cream

When I read the mixed reviews about this bin, I was a bit unsure but I desperately needed an alternative than hanging a bin bag on my kitchen door. The dog was always getting stuff from it. I don't have much room for a bin in my kitchen so I needed something slimline but large enough for a family of 4 household with a cat and a dog.I have had this bin for a month now and I love it. I really like the fact that it is an automatic close system, so you don't have to touch the bin at all. It is really easy to operate and clean. It fits in a small space and I've turned it so it doesn't sense people walking past it. The sensor seems to be working well and I'm still using the original batteries (these are not included).The only awkward thing is trying to keep the lid open longer. It is possible if you make sure you stand in front of the sensor when emptying stuff into the bin. This will keep it open until you walk away.I would buy this bin again and it was a good price when I purchased it from Amazon.I just need to figure out a way of stopping my dog purposely using his nose to use the sensor to open it! Hahaha!

The whole family ADORE this large, well designed, aesthetically pleasing bin. We’ve had it for 5 months now and are still on the first set of batteries after much usage! Because of the shape and design we even have to change over bags less! There’s less on the floor and because it’s hands free, stays cleaner and tidier! It’s a WIN, WIN, WIN! One of my all time fav purchases!!

A decent quality basic sensor bin, but with a small flaw. The sensor seems to be aimed horizontally and quite low. I have to bend down and wave in front of the bin for it to open. The sensor then can’t see me while I am scraping something off a plate for example and the bin closes on me. The opening and closing mechanism itself seems better than previous sensor bins I have owned. Just a shame that the sensor is not aimed vertically. Maybe would work better for kids, smaller people or those with long arms.

Lid opening is a bit annoying every time you walk past it but is also very handy when needed. Looks good and has a large capacity

Was a bit dubious seeing the plastic bin, but, it is a really good bin.Had a stainless steel one before and it was so hard to keep clean.Works well on automatic on manually.Easy to clean.

The media could not be loaded. First, I was experiencing 2 days delay from delivery with Prime. Second, I expected the bin worked well as newly brought but it wasn’t indeed. I put the new batteries and switched it on like back and forth several times. It was working! no to mention red light or green light. It’s just a rubbish product!

Cheapest bin I’ve seen this size lightweight but good quality, lid works really well easy to use! Highly recommended excellent product and price!

I purchased this bin looking after looking for something without a pedal as I have been struggling with my previous bin. The pedals not working after a while. I chose this one as battery operated . This works perfectly well and the only downside is that every time when someone passes the bin opens.

Ottima pattumiera automatica. Molto capiente. Un po' ingombrante (ctrl le dimensioni!) ma davvero ottimo acquisto.
