Switch owners may share my feelings that the single USB port on the Switch dock was not enough. This USB hub works perfectly to [A] charge your controllers (I had to experiment with a few hubs, which were not able to charge things) and [B] support an ethernet wired connection (I use an ethernet-USB adapter and it works when plugged into the hub).My one warning is that the cable length is only a few inches. This suits the Switch nicely as it is able to clear the back panel, which can then be folded up, without extending too much beyond that. If you are looking to plug this into the back of your PC this will likely not suit your needs.

I am using this for a camera/mic/light set up. No issues. Just added an extension cable to make it easier to reach my computer.

Not sure why some people have review that they were using this from 2 years. This is a newer product and you cannot own for 2 years.I had taken a product which is a generic brand and returned it since it was not working as expected even with keyboard and mouse attached to it. TrendNet is a good reputed brand and purchased this just based on reputation. did not let me down.Very compact, recognized without drivers in windows as well as mac. all the hardware was identified easily as soon as attached.5 stars. great product.

Well, this thing functions fine as a USB hub. My two issues are1 - This one is my own fault for not reading carefully or thinking clearly. The cable to plug it in is 4" long, which is a lot shorter than it may sound. I simply wanted access to USB ports without the need to pull my computer out from where it rests - this is not long enough for that purpose.2 - This one is....well...it renders the thing useless. The hub kills my wi-fi. it took me a few days to connect the dots here, as I live in a rural area with crappy internet service, but I can now have wifi connection fine - browse the internet, then plug in the hub and it's gone. As soon as I unplug the hub, the wifi returns. Apparently, there is something to USB 3.0 interfering with wi-fi....so.

Ordered for grandson he needed to play his games.

My Nintendo switch was in need of some extra USB ports and this did the trick. So far it has given zero issues too and I've had it (consistently used as well) for over 3 months now

I can plug in more than one thing and it is not in my way. Mine is plugged in the back of the computer so cords are not in my way.

Absolutely PERFECT!I have 4 plugged into my iMac.Works exactly as it supposed to!Takes up no space. USB powered doesn't waste energy and doesn't slow down the iMac.

OMG!!I ordered two items of this product and none of them work at all, so disappointing !!

ALS 3.0 Hub gut zu gebrauchen,,,habe alle Ports belegt...und alle Geräte funktionieren ...sind aber alles Geräte , ohne großen Stromhunger, bzw mit eigener Stromversorgung...somit werden die max Leistungen nicht überschritten
