The light is pure quality - heavy duty with excellent hardware. Straight out of the box, the light had enough of a charge to last several hours. We killed two Central Texas hogs that night. Since then, they have flocked to our baited area every night and pay no attention to the red light. I absolutely love that the light turns on slowly and increases in brightness over the span of several seconds. We have found that the third setting fits our needs the best.I also own the green one of the same brand. Though the red light is dimmer than the green, it proves equally effective.
