Gorgeous old fashioned book. Love to read this on christmas eve and will always do so.

Traditional read

I love this story. As it is so beautifully written in poetry style you can immerse yourself in the characters when reading. This should become a tradition at Christmas for all families. Lovely illustrations. I will be buying in book form as well as I still love the feel of a book!

When our children were young, the last thing before they went to sleep on Christmas Eve night was the reading out loud of this little book. It was a tradition - my wife and I enjoyed it every bit as much did our children.

I must say that this book is not worth the money. I bought this book after seeing three lovely pics that a reviewer put up. Since receiving the book, a recent review has posted a few pics of the actual copy being sold by Amazon, the copy that I received. I am in the print trade myself and can tell you that the quality of the print and finish of the book is very poor and cheap looking. The type is small and the pictures are dark. Overall, it's just a very boring book, not a nice colourful Christmas story that you would like to read to your children on Christmas eve! Unfortunately, I have had to return the item!

I love that the illustrations are the original ones for the book. It's a great story book for the grandsons at Christmas. Nice hardback.

I could've typed up the poem and stapled the pages together and had something nicer than this book. Very disappointing.

Another version of the Night before Christmas.... being in Italy, I would love to get my hands on a combined version... where the story is in both English and Italian... read this to my grandson's school - in English and his teacher read the Italian version... the kids just hung on every word....

I bought this for my husband to read on Christmas eve before bed to our baby daughters. It makes such great memories!
