Great fit. Works great for my competition

I ordered this for Longsword sparring. Had quite a few hits to the head. Held up perfectly. No dents or collapses, just chipped paint. That’s to be expected sparring with dull metal swords.

I really liked this product. Nothing new or exciting, just a well priced basic fencing mask. Beginners take note: at fancy tournaments, black is sometimes reserved for coaches/officials. Usually not a big deal though.

Already sparred a couple of times with it, it holds very well against rapiers and longswords

This was the second mask I bought as my first purchase was through Amazon for a ThreeWot fencing mask that was entirely too small. The Leonark has definitely been an improvement and has been used in several long sword sparring sessions with no problems. I’d recommend ordering at least a size up from what you might think you’d wear but other than that, it’s done it’s job well, even saving me from a hard thrust dead center with absolutely no pain or injury. I’d recommend it so long as you keep the sizing advice I mentioned in mind. :) Update- After a year of heavy training against various weapons It's held up pretty well. I've taken some pretty hard thrusts to the mask that, while waffling the crap outta my head underneath (my fault, not the masks) have not damaged the mask at all. The one thing I'll say is that the removable liner is kinda shit and is starting to fall apart but that may be from me washing it. That said, its gotten me through several tournaments with no issue and with easily 400+ hours in this thing it's not had any catastrophic failures. It's definitely not the nicest mask on the market but it does what it says on the tin- keeps your head safe from swords. Nuff said.

Arrived on time and I have been pleased with it. I bought this to practice Kali stick fighting and it protects the head and eyes great! I've been hit numerous times and it's not dented at all.

Bought for the SCA and it is a great mask! I was a little on the large (bought a L) but not bad. Probably could have done a M and been fine.

Die Maske sitzt vernünftig, etwas unangenehm im Kinn, aber das ist schnell vergessen. Es stört wirklich nur beim aufsetzen und sobald man damit in Aktion ist, spürt man es kein bisschen. Sie ist Groß und bietet viel Luft, sodass man seine Brille problemlos drunter tragen kann und trotzdem optimalen Schutz hat. Ich verwende diese Maske nicht zum Fechten, sondern für HEMA, das bedeutet ich habe schon Breitschwert Schläge in mein Gesicht bekommen und kann voller Glück sagen, dass weder die Maske noch ich Schaden genommen hat. Sie ist ein Traum und bei Schutzausrüstung sollte man wirklich nicht zu stark sparen.

this is the real deal! me and my mate battered each other while wearing this and there was no brain damage! wonderful visibility and safety make sure you get the correct size! i would err on smaller of two size choices... too big and it moves. you could always wear a hat to thicken your head to make a large fit

La calidad es buena pero el velcro trasero es muy pobre... Ya podrian haber puesto uno con mejor agarre.

The fit was ok although not amazing. The net is strong and the price at the time of purchase was seriously cheap. Fencing masks otherwise tend to be pricy. Great option for someone who doesn't want to spend a fortune right away. Would very much consider to buy again if I needed a second one.
