Look and perform like LSTN Encore, but at a fraction of the price. So good.
These sound fantastic, look awesome, even though I'm pretty sure they are copied from the LSTN "Encore" headphone design, they did a good job. Definitely low-mid range heavy, do a bass line justice, but the highs - if somewhat under-powered - are clear nonetheless, and can really shine with a bit of EQ adjustment. Rich, warm tone at a quality that usually goes for twice the price or more. The braided cord seems durable as well, and the wood plug ends are a very nice touch. They accomplish fairly low sound leakage with a simultaneous natural sound, like much of the higher end "open back" headphones. It appears this product is discontinued, so it may be wise to purchase before they disappear, like the "Accidentally Extraordinary" ones did last year.

Mediocre sound and fit, not worth the price
I am disappointed enough with these to return them.Fit [3/5] - These are NOT proper circumaural/over-ear headphones as advertised. They are on-ear headphones unless you have absurdly small ears (no offense if you do). This alone would be enough to return the headphones, but that's not all that's wrong with them.Construction [4/5] - I actually quite like the construction. It's simple and utilitarian, uses very little plastic, and has several exposed bolts and screws, which I appreciate from a brutalist aesthetic. Unfortunately, you can also see that some of the parts and construction methods are a bit questionable in quality. The cord is nylon, with wooden plugs, which I think is a very nice touch.Isolation [1/5] - These are NOT sound isolating headphones as advertised. On close inspection (and testing), I'm quite sure they are semi-open. This isn't normally a big deal for me, but if I'm paying nearly $90, I'd better get exactly what it says on the tin.Sound quality [3/5] - This is the real kicker. Especially when using a DAC/driver, these headphones are outperformed by pretty much everything else I own. They're not as balanced in register as my $75 pair of Sennheiser HD 428's , and lack the clarity of a $55 pair of AKG 240's. Compared to competitors in the same price bracket, these headphones provide a muddled soundstage that smudges quieter background sounds together. The worst part is that the very top of the upper register is piercingly loud, which is painful for most listening, but may be solved after a burn-in. All this being said, the audio isn't that bad, all things considered, and is better than your average $40 pair.Overall [3/5] - I tried to find reasons to keep these, since I liked the looks and materials, but I can't justify paying for a product that is outperformed by pretty much everything in its price bracket, and doesn't even match the product description.

A CLEVER SELL
When I was looking for headphones, my attention was grabbed immediately by the way the product was described. "Sound isolating", "over the ear", "in-line mic & volume control", "natural wood grain", plus, a matching case. A few key words from a pretty clever seller. Well done! It definitely worked for me and I'll bet it grabbed other people's attention as well.

Surprising listening quality!!
Surprised by the quality sound, I was! Good sound across all ranges. Great soundstage. Not being a bass head, I don't purchase headphones for the bass signature. But, if you like bass, heres another pair for you. Good bass but also good across all ranges. I really like these over ear headphones. They sound great and look great as well. And they come with a nice carrying case or bag or something nice to carry these nice headphones in.

Best headphones I've ever used
I recieved this item at a discounted rate for my honest review. I'm currently listening to music with these headphones right now and watching tv. I have the volume half way up and can't hear the tv 3 feet away at all. They're very comfortable on my head and ears with plenty of padding. I also like that the wires connecting the headphones to my iPad are wrapped in a fabric material so they won't fray with use. You can also pause and play with the button on the wire. Very convenient and can I add attractive! Love the natural wood detail. I'll be traveling the air in style!
