I have many cats, so for their safety, I chose this bleach-free stain remover. I followed the instructions and sprayed it onto the exterior walls; the mold and moss didn't break down on their own, but when used in conjunction with a small pressure washer, it effectively cleared away the mold. It is relatively expensive, but it is indeed safe. It has no pungent odor and causes no burning sensation. I had previously tried using just the pressure washer alone, but that simply didn't work. Worked really well for a driveway and a paver area spring clean up project. Get a section wet, spray it with this product, and let it sit for a few minutes and the dirt comes right off with a pressure washer. It may be my imagination but I think the “Oxy” continues to clean even after the area is pressure washed because a few days later the concrete and pavers looked better than they did the day I cleaned them. I will definitely use this again next time I need to pressure wash. It works much better than pressure washing alone (I’ve tried both with and without many times).
