The New Marian Daily Missal (Black cover)

Good First-timer Missal, Wish it were Much Better Quality.
I've been using an older 1958 print of the New Marian Missal and was very excited to get a this one since it's a brand new re-print of my old Missal. Mine was a little scuffed at the top right corner and some of the pages up top (see pictures) were very SLIGHTLY damaged/bent.The Missal cover and pages fell great, however, this is not a good reprint of the original Marian missals from the 50s. The pages are thin enough to see the font from another page, the font is not centered well so there's more space at the top of the page compared to the bottom of the bottom. The font is shrunken down compared to the older missals so there's space on the side boarders, plus, the already-smaller font in the readings & order of mass are smaller. The illustrations are done in black and white compared to the color of the original missal and there's only TWO ribbons (most missals have 5-7 ribbons). This is a good first-timer missal, but due to it's price, compared to other missals which are cheaper and offer MORE prayers and MORE latin, I cannot recommend this missal.Pro/Con: Pre-62 Missal, post 55-MissalPro: Cover, binding QualityPro: Ease of useCon: PriceCon: Page/font qualityCon: Lack of ribbons

One of the best missals I have ever had
It totally has the artwork to it! I will have to get this blessed. It reminds me of my Mary knoll dally missal but way more artwork which I am huge into old traditional roman catholic art. It has all of the Latin & translation into English. I am very happy I purchased the new marian missal, it has a really comfortable weight to it, almost like a Sunday missal . Its expensive, but worth the investment! And also it has sort of a paperback / leather bound feel to it ( AVE MARIA )

Lovely Missal
I bought it to help me to participate in the Traditional Latin Mass. The readings are beautiful. Too bad our Pope has severely curtailed this Mass. That happened within days of my receiving this Missal. I pray it will be returned to the faithful.

If you are a sedevacantist.........
If you are a sedevacantist then this is the last true Missal issued by the Church under the last true Pope, Pius XII. Promulgated in 1958, and published until 1960, with no changes made until the 1961 revision. Some sedevacantist groups use pre-55 Missals, which is more an exercise in antiquarianism than orthodox observance. If you consider yourself a sedevacantist as of the end of Pius XII's reign then this Missal, and no other, should be your go-to for Masses and the church calendar. Roncalli didn't get his hands on the published Missal until 1961, which of course invalidates their adherence to teaching of the Church immemorial. My only complaint is that a new typeface was not utilized, and the red letter instructions are quite limited.
