Exactly like an original
You have to go to settings, delete Bluetooth from original remote, don't forget removing yellow stickers from the battery. Get close to to your MI BOX S push and hold 2 buttons till instructions come up on TV. If don't work try removing the power and reset the MI BoX again. Took me 20 min to get it work. Good luck!

Not working well with buttons sending several signals at same time
From the beginning works badly with most buttons sending signals instead of one leading to very difficult usage. I have to buy another one from different manufacturer. Very disappointed

I would recommend to anyone who is looking to replace the original remote. Works great.

Did not work for me
I have a MiBox S and lost the remote while moving (it's in a box somewhere!). I thought I would give this a try as an inexpensive replacement. I was able to get it to pair with the MiBox, but not all the buttons worked. The down arrow worked, but the up did not. So navigating menus wasn't possible.

Worth it
Nice replacement for the xiaomi box. The seller privately messaged me the pairing instructions which is very nice,but I couldn't make it working. Since I have the xiaomi remote also intalled in my phone, I went on the box settings and pair it via Bluetooth. The mouse pad in this remote is even softer than the original one.
