Holly Cow, I LOVE MY HUMMINBIRD HELIX 9, Everything is SOOOOOO CLEAR, and easy to use. I have had NO PROBLEMS with mine so far and have seen so much on the bottom of the lake I fish on; I have also caught a lot more fish since I started using it.

Helix 9
When purchased unit did not expect the Helix 9 gen4n to be smaller in diameter that my old helix 9 gen2. It would not fit in preexisting hole that was from the factory on dash. Ended up having to buy a dash mount from Bass Boat Technology. Other than that the unit is as expected and what I needed

Amazon poor description
I am dissatisfied that Amazon did not put that a cover was included in the description of what is included. In fact, a cover was “suggested” as an item most people bought in addition to the helix 9 mega si plus g4n. So I ordered a cover. Low and behold a cover came with the unit. I had to drive 60 miles away to a ups store and stand in line for a half an hour just to return this cover. Humminbird makes an excellent product. I have purchased over $8,000 worth of electronics and accessories from them . I contacted humminbird about this. They indicated Amazon has control over the advertising. For other buyers “ a cover comes with the helix 9”.

International buyers take note
The package arrived very quickly. Although the box was crushed, the contents survived. However, I’m disappointed that I was shipped a US market set instead of an International set. As a consequence, I’m unable to set the time correctly.
