Cajun Braid "Green Gator" Fishing Line Filler Spool

Like most all Cajun line, this braid comes from China. I have used it only twice on a Zebco 808 Magnum but it did cast smoothly and is extremely flexible. If it holds up over time, it will be a good value.

These Cajun Braid Green Gator Fishing Line is great. I already catch a 30 pound fish using a 60 fishing line.

Got very excited by the price!! But!! Another one of those you do get what you pay for. I bought this braided line when i saw that the price was quite cheap compared to other brands. Well I took it out to the Lake to fish in extremely clean fresh water today and after the 3 or so cast, the colors started to fade and as it dried it started to act like a sponge and the material became somewhat distorted.When I first rolled the line into my spool the night before, it was beautiful, but after like the 3rd cast, it started to puff up and it wasn't so beautiful anymore. It didn't cast as well also as it kept snagging due to the line getting all distorted.Some may think it's part of wear and tear or natural to change color after the first 3 cast. But i was fishing with a buddy of mine who also had braided line and has been using his particular spool for about 5 trips now in the last 3 months. And I compared his spool to my new spool and it's completely different. His looked brand spanking new. The brand he used was Power Pro (Not trying to plug them, other premium brands can be just as good).Well I hope Amazon lets me return this as it's been only a couple of weeks since I purchased it. I actually bought 3 spools of different strength. Talk about over excited! haha..lesson learned.I'd post some pics of before and after but amazon doesn't take picture uploads and I don't want to do a video review.

It will lose its "green" but it performs as well as other braids. This is not a bad option if you use leaders or fish at night.

I have had no problems with the line. It works as well as the power pro super 8 or suffix that I have used.
