Works great for searching for errors on coins. Only 7 of the 8 LED's work. I kept wondering why I got a shadow on one side of the coin. I took a picture of a coin in a holder and I could see the lights and noticed one was burnt out. Of course Adorama states it is past the return period so they won't do anything and gave me the mfg. phone number that nobody answers and they don't return calls. So I am stuck with a $120 POS that has the potential to be a good tool but in my case it is just too bad so sad....I have purchased a lot of camera equipment in the past from Adorama....never again now. Update....Adorama who I purchased this through refused to help me. I got ahold of the mfg. Bodelin and they sent me a new unit free of charge to replace the one with the burnt out LED. Thank you Bodelin. I have purchased many lens and other photography equipment through Adoram over the years...guess what? Adorama I will never purchase another item from you now. Bodelin gets 5+ stars.

The microscope is fine. The stand is so flimsy that the slightest touch causes the microscope to move, making it almost impossible to use at high magnifications. I got a Jiusion aluminium stand for $21 and it works much better. The only problem was that the microscope's circumference is slightly larger than it is specified, making it just a bit to large for the new stand. I used a Dremel tool and a 1/4" (head size) double cut titanium carbide burr bit to enlarge the stand's clamp. So now I have a usable setup.
