I've been using the DK177 Magnetic Phone Holder for a few weeks now, and I'm absolutely loving it! It's the perfect solution for keeping my phone handy and accessible while I'm working at my desk. I take my laptop when I stay in hotels and I like to play games, watch shows, listen to music, and work all at the same time. Sometimes you can’t do all of that on one device so I bought this so I could be working on my laptop and have a show playing at the same time and it so worth it! the magnet is strong but not too strong and the device is small so it’s not clunky on my laptop and if I ever need to remove or replace it, a little adhesive remover will get it right off. Highly recommended!

This phone stand would look fantastic with my macbook but the joint is SO loose. My item came fresh out the package and immediately swung effortlessly without the phone... Then I tried connecting it with the plate (on my old phone - same phone case) and it worked!... Until the adhesion gave up 🥲 The magnets are no doubt strong, but the adhesion of the metal plate (on the phone case) and the joint of the item are not so promising ... It's been 10 mins out the package and back in it goes. It gets 2 stars because I believe this item could be so much better.

The application of this product was simple and intuitive, and I've been able to attach my phone (iPhone XS) in both landscape and portrait from my screen. It's important to note to adhere the product to the screen at the amount of distance needed in order to fit your phone landscape first. I've found this as a very efficient way of keeping your phone out of your hands but also letting see important notifications. The magnets work through my case, which is a typical rubber case, and is just strong enough to not be a hassle to take the phone on and off. I've already recommended this to many of my friends.

After 3 months the glue failed on the metal disk. I did allow it to fully adhere before using it. It's just cheaper glue than the 3m tape.

This is a great item for multitaskers. It sticks well and feels sturdy. It has a strong magnet, but not strong enough to move your laptop screen when pulling your phone off it. One thing to keep in mind that it’s a decent size and with it was slightly smaller and not a eye sore on my 13” mac book pro.

As a Digital Dj this tool and idea is very helpful to me in the field for keeping contact with fans, and song request. Loud vibrations in the club causes me to miss all kinds of info and it cause me to loose money when I miss an important text like club directions and location. It is truly a thoughtful design. However in the dj world everything is about ascetics and feel. The product has to feel right and solid. The product works but it feels flimsy and wobbly once mounted. The base piece seems well constructed and durable, the problem is center of gravity, what material your protective case is made of and the power of the adhesive. If you have a rubber case that can stretch it will add to the wobbly feel of the mount. However even with a hard case I think it may be still wobbly. The magnetic plate should be place in a location where the center of gravity doesn't cause your phone to lean forward, that can be a problem if you have iPhone pro, the cameras get in the way. I also think perhaps the magnetic plate and the part where it locks on to the mount should be larger maybe it might help with the wobble. If you're in a situation where you may need to have you're laptop facing down this could be a problem. While doing this the adhesive gave out and phone fell off. Luckily for me I don't often need to do this. Don't get me wrong the magnet is powerful but glue is not so. I understand why, you may want to remove the plate at some point. So for some advice set the plate in the upper center (not the top)of the phone if you have a large one. I see a future in these designs and hopefully they can come up with a way for it to feel more solid while retaining its sleek and modern look. So for me Im going to try it in the field when clubs open up again and see how well it holds up. I'll keep my eye on possible upgrades like possibly adding a swivel of some type. So for now this get a 3 and hopefully in the future I can give it a 5. PS does anyone know if we can order more plates?

This gets questions all the time. It’s small enough to not add weight to the computer. It was very easy to attach and use with any phone. It holds my phone in place all day and never sags. It’s a well made handy little gadget.

I wasn't sure why to spend £11 when the same was sold for £4.60..... I know now! The bracket is strong to support my Samsung A33 5G 186gr daily,it has not loosen up despite daily open & close as well as multiple abuses like me wondering with my laptop open and the phone suspended next to screen..I have been using for 2 months and it still performing like on the first day. It comes with 2 extra magnet in case you need to change laptop. Make sure to put magnet in the middle of your phone and trial the bracket before sticking it for good. Really great product and worth the money.

This is an excellent little gadget which I have attached to the side of my imac and works well. Perhaps a little overpriced but well engineered.
