Fun for young and old
Good mix of common and harder wordsThe big letters are easy to circle. I like the insertion of slightly less common words to build the vocabulary, but not overwhelm the child doing the word search. I like the large variety of subjects, from Pokemon to school subjects. I wish it had more worldly words (like different country currency). There was some variety in the lists like bolded words in a story versus just a list. The harder words can help improve a younger child's vocabulary. For the older people, it is a good way to pass time, especially since the words weren't super simple like "CAT", "DOG". There was even a puzzle about marine mammals and I learned about a new animal because I'd never seen the word before. My son enjoyed the book and we liked to "compete" in different colored pencils to see who could find more words.

Fun word search book for my little one.
Just enough of a challenge for my 7 year old. Letters are not too large, and not teeny. The words are average, not obscure that my child has never heard of the words. Fun topics for the word searches.

Great for Kids
I used this at work in my restaurant for the kids that are too old for crayons. They loved it and so did the parents since it kept kids off their phones and got the parents a bit involved. Kids liked the Sounds puzzle because it was cute, Magic because it was harder and Ice Cream Flavors because the kids learned new flavors. I liked the large print too.

Perfect for my daughter
I got this for my 7 year old daughter who is often anxious. We have found that she loves doing these crossword puzzles. This is not too hard but not too easy. We spend a lot of time working on them together and they help her recognize words to expand her vocabulary which is great for her speech and reading delay.

One on one quality time with Grandma.
My grandson loves his word search. The letter are large which makes it easier for him to draw around the word once he found it.. He wants another one.

Interesting themes kids will like
I love the way the challenges in the book increase as you go through it. I can see myself giving one puzzle to a child every couple of days as they go through a school year and they should be able to grow at the same pace. Some favorite puzzles were Donuts, The Jungle Book, and Snowball by Shel Silverstein.
