Spain released, Blu-Ray/Region A/B/C : it WILL NOT play on regular DVD player. You need Blu-Ray DVD player to view this Blu-Ray DVD: LANGUAGES: English ( DTS 5.1 ), English ( DTS-HD Master Audio ), Spanish ( Subtitles ), WIDESCREEN (2.35:1), SPECIAL FEATURES: Interactive Menu, Scene Access, SYNOPSIS: Rock star Pink Floyd is a tortured soul. Because of his childhood, he has always tried to make meaningful emotional connections to other living creatures. That childhood includes not having a male role model with his father having been killed in the war, his overprotective mother smothering him, and an oppressive school system quashing his natural creativity. Being a rock star, he is often wanted more because of what he is than who he is. The most recent failure in that true connection to someone or something else is his marriage, when on tour, he discovers that his wife back home is cheating on him. His response is to go in the opposite direction, by building a figurative wall around him to isolate himself from the rest of the world, but not before showing graphically his feelings on different gut levels. The question becomes if he or anyone else can do anything to tear down the wall in a meaningful way. SCREENED/AWARDED AT: BAFTA Awards, ...Pink Floyd: The Wall

The Wall in HD!!!
I hadn't seen this movie in a long time and was unable to find it streaming anywhere so of course I looked on Amazon! I couldn't believe that it was on blu-ray and in HD! The last time I watched it was on grainy VHS and while it was good, HD WAS AMAZING!!!This movie is not a bootleg and is professionally packaged. This is the original movie in HD with foreign subtitles. Turn off the subtitles and you can watch the original movie in HD! I've had all of the songs stick in my head since I watched it a well ago... it's freakin' Awesome!!!Oh, it also has the "Making of The Wall" documentary that was really cool as a bonus on the blu-ray!

Blu Ray DVD, original movie, perfect!
Very happy with this purchase! I have the old VHS of this movie from back in the day, but wanted to watch it free on a streaming platform, but nobody has it! And it's not available in U.S. stores either. Amazon Video use to offer it, but no longer, and neither do the other movie platforms. I was hoping this wasn't going to be some pirated knock off dvd, but it is the original on Blu Ray dvd! It does come with closed captioning with English into Spanish (or Portuguese, or whatever the language is from where this DVD came from) onto the screen, but you can shut that off in the menu and you've got the perfect English speaking Blu Ray DVD "The Wall" with no closed captioning! I crank this movie up LOUD! with all the great music and it is in surround sound!

Can't get rid of the Spanish subtitles
This blue ray was horrible quality. Not even sure this is a legit licensed blu-ray. This is my favorite movie and I was excited to see it available on blu-ray. The picture quality is very poor and there are Spanish subtitles that you cannot turn off. The menu is in Spanish which I expected being a Spanish version but the subtitles take away from the movie experience and there is no option to turn them off. You are better off sticking with the actual licensed version of the DVD.

Great to have this on high quality Blu-Ray
Have always loved this movie from my teen years, and it was originally filmed on high-quality high-resolution film. So many details get lost when watching it on DVD I almost couldn't bear to watch it. Great to finally have it in full HD with minimal compression and 5.1 surround sound. Shame I had to order it from Spain.I wrote to David Gilmore about this not being available on Blu-Ray [in the U.S.] and he actually responded! It's not because of his feud with Roger Waters, but rather feuds between the different media companies and their lawyers involved over royalties. Dave clued me in that it was available in a few other countries.

Nice Transfer; use your BD Remote!
Just got this BD disc as a hedge, as I already had the DVD -- but since Hollywood has not released a true BD or 4k as of yet, this will have to do. Transfer and Sound is good [DTS -English], but you WILL need your BD player's remote control to turn OFF auto on Spanish subtitles, as the BD Disc menu items are only in Spanish, and do not have any Menu Item for Subtitle control. [so you will use your BD player remote to manually turn off the subtitles] That being said, some decent extras on this disc, and far easier to navigate the scene menu, than my USA DVD, with its many layers of menus... Comparing them back to back, the sound and transfer are close, as my 4k TV and 4k UHD player[s] {all} try to up-convert to 4K. It is definitely not any step below the DVD, other than the subtitle item.

What can I say about Pink Floyd? They are the greatest.
This is one great movie. I watched it at midnight showing and now I own it. I’m a big fan. I wish I could’ve seen them when they were together. I recommend this movie to anybody who is a fan of Pink Floyd.

Scratches the Itch
This is not a true Blu-ray disc, meaning it's not from an original, digitally remastered source. Not entirely sure this is even a licensed product. That said, this pictute and audio qualitu are decent, DVD quality; they'll scratch the it. Was unable to turn off Spanish subtitles. Will try with another player.
