I looked through this and I think some if not all in time will be of beneficial help for me as a Children's author and illustrator,too!So, For these reasons of being a big help to me, I feel that this book needs five stars and I want to recommend this for those who also may need to use these techniques for fun or also for a good purpose. I've been looking after my cousin a lot recently and she's crazy about drawing right now. She loves to draw animals so I wanted to look for some tips on how to draw them, so I could help her get better.I found this book to be great value for money. I've even been following the tips myself and the birds I've been drawing actually look ok, which is a huge improvement on my drawing!I'll be getting more books from this author when me and my cousin are bored of drawing birds!

Not as good as others in the series. It’s still great to use as a guide in journaling as well as for kids.

The birds are very cute, cartoon-ey and expressive. I tried most of the drawings, and while some jump very quickly between two steps and don't really simplify the cartoon as much as I would have liked; overall the book is greatly helpful. It covers a range of birds in all shapes and sizes and is worth a read, especially for beginners!

I rated it a one because it was pretty boring and, it was confusing to read. I did not like it.

I bought this for my 6 yr old nephew and he loved it. Some of the birds are quite easy to draw and some are a bit more challenging.I think this book will keep him entertained for years.

Thought this book would be full of birds similar to the ones on the cover. It isn't.It has the ones on the cover and then a few filler pages. Waste of money.

My 12 year old daughter had a blast with this book. Just quick little drawings, nothing overly complicated. She is the one who wanted me to write this review!
