The snowflakes are really cute but the coverage area is pretty small. It didn’t even cover an entire wall in my house let alone the entire exterior of the home. I was going to keep it anyway until it started consistently turning on and off on its own at random times throughout the day. Kind of creepy. So I’ll probably be sending it back.

We have been looking for a product like this at our home, but found they were all sold out in stores. We stumbled upon this product on Amazon and decided to give it a shot, despite it not being from a big-name brand, and we were pleasantly surprised! The quality of the projection is beautiful and bright. As other reviewers have mentioned, this will not project over an entire house (you need multiple for that) but will cover a large portion of a 2-door garage. The remote is handy and I appreciate that you can opt to use either the stand or a garden spike for placement. We used the stand and placed some garden rocks over the bottom to ensure it remains in place. We liked this option better than the spike since it means we don't have to dig a hole in the front yard to place it. Overall, we are very happy and we are considering buying a second for the other corner of the house!

I have been using this in classrooms for a song about winter and how snow is formed. The remote is so helpful because the snow only starts at one point in the song and then the storm speeds up, so I'm able to just tap the remote while I'm playing guitar. I work with children with special needs and this has provided a wonderful sensory experience. It shows up fairly well in the classroom when the projector is about 5-6 feet from the wall, and the snow flakes move in approximately a four foot area at this range. At this range the snow flakes are very clear, even in a classroom where it is pretty light even with the lights off. So far it has held up well, though it is only used for about 10-20 minutes a week for the past month.

The Field of Light is sooooo small, it is barely 4 feet across.I also bought the "dancing snowflake" model with a Domed frontfor about $12 more that I like much, much better.From the same distance that one has an 8-10' diameter light field.The box and instructions are so similar that both versions areprobably made by the same company.This one does make nice, large, pretty and bright 1' wide snowflakes, though.The user manual makes it seem like you get a 2-prong and a 3-prong plug,but you do not.

This unit is simply not bright enough for outdoor use if you have any other lighting on or near your house. Unless the unit is right up against your foundation, the projection will be so dim that you'll really only register movement, not snowflake shapes. If you get it close enough to be bright, it will only cover a very small area of your house. Additionally, I have all of my exterior lights on a timer, allowing me to turn them on and off as a unit. This unit seems to forget it's settings when the power is shut off. It turns back on without intervention, but the snowflakes revert back to a crazy fast movement rate. I have returned this unit as it really didn't meet my needs.

Product works great, and is easy to set up. Good value being as it has the programmable remote with it. I wanted a snowflake light display for the outside of my house and with a remote control for easy turn on/off without having to go outside. The other great feature on the remote is you can set a a timer for 2,4,6 and 8 hours. My only disappointment with the product is the total coverage area.

This product is appropriate for display on a small, dark wall. The image projected is a small circle of white snowflakes that move in random directions. The projected image is about 4 feet across at a distance of ten feet, and the projector is too dim to show the image effectively beyond ten feet. There is only one mode of display, despite the "mode" button on the wireless remote. The pictures and descriptions of the product are misleading, in that the actual display is much smaller and dimmer than implied by the photos. The product came in a re-packaged box, with a card that offers a $15 Amazon card in exchange for a good review. In addition, there is a $7.50 shipping fee for the return. I prefer to give you my true opinion, pay the $7.50 for shipping, and give up the $15 for a falsely positive review.

This is a really nice projector. The snowflakes are very crisp and add a nice, festive touch. I set it up inside our house and our family loves it.
