The media could not be loaded.  I never realised there were such things until searching for a replacement for my old butane? candle lighter. This plasma arc lighter is well made and feels quite chunky in the hand; the bendable arm is also sturdy and stays in the shape you make it. The unit arrived fully charged (5 out of 5 on the battery indicator) and is really easy to use. It charges from any standard USB power socket, and supplied with a short cable.Was packaged in a stylish black box which I suppose you could keep it in. I have attached a video and picture of its use on an old candle which has burnt deep down and has a stubby little wick. As you see it easily lit the candle and no more burnt fingers from using a match or cigarette lighter. Have bought a second one for my daughter.

So much safer than using matches or butane lighters. I use this to light candles but it would also be good for lighting the fireplace. What I like about this product is there is an on and off switch -- thus there is no danger that it could accidentally set something on fire. Very easy to use: just flick the switch on (the blue lights will come on) and then press the switch. I haven't tried using it in windy conditions but the technology behind this product would make it easier to use than matches or butane lighters. The neck is flexible, which is another plus (others are just straight). Easy to recharge as well (the charge keeps for a long time).

Been looking to get one of these for ages, but for whatever reason always overlooked them. Anyway one day we needed a lighter and the gas one had run out, when I was looking for some replacement gas I came across this and decided now is the time.Packaging was kind of what I expected, your typical china factory effort, as were the instructions (comedy at times)In use, its all so simple, push up the safety on/off switch and then press the button...then rather than fire you get what looks like an electric bolt fire between the two posts at the top. This lasts for as long as you hold the button. There is no further configuration.It does really work well, maybe taking an extra second or two to light a candle, for example.Battery life is solid, though the battery LED indicators are misleading. You have 5 of them and when all on it's fully charged. Thing is, after fully charging the unit and then using it to light a candle or three, you suddenly lose two LEDs, leaving you with three. This left me disappointed initially, but after further use, them three LEDs took an absolute age to go down. In fact, in the time I've had it (few months) I've only charged it once, which was the initial charge.This product also has a bendable neck, that can be shaped to your heart's desire. This enables you to reach those more "interesting" shaped candleholders, shall I say!So it loses a star based on its poor LED algorithm, but for the rest, I really can't fault it.Well worth a buy

The product is easy to charge via the usb lead provided and lasts a reasonable time but could be longer. There are some led lights that give an indication of the charge left so you can anticipate when it needs charging. The lighter can be locked so no spark can be made. The flexible head is useful on occasions. It can take a bit to light a candle as it is a spark and not a flame but overall great value for money

The media could not be loaded.  Bought this to replace the disposable gas lighters and matches we were using to light candles in the house. The performance of it far exceeded my expectations, lighting the candle very quickly with no burning of fingers, unlike when using a match. Bought at Christmas and after the initial charge I have only had to use USB cable (included) once to charge it.

I found this so useful that this is the second one I've purchased, one for in my home and the other for my touring caravan. It works on BBQ's, gas cookers, lighting candles, the list goes on, just don't forget to keep it charged.

Having found this amazing “Child Attitude Alteration Device” for such a great price, at first I was sceptical as to wether it would have the desired effect.What I can confirm is that those scepticisms were instantly dashed by the reaction of “The Child” at the first sight of the Mini Cattle Prod.Unfortunately for him that reaction faded as it became apparent that it was more a test of will and necessity to prove to him that I was willing to “Pull The Trigger” so to speak.After a few “Love Tap” just to gauge the “Punch” of the device, I have now found the the “7 Second Safety Feature” as you call it, is actually just a power saving mode that I feel should have an override facility for those moment when “Attitude Alteration” isn’t really needed but instead I just require so mild laughter for my own mental health and well being.In conclusion I would recommend this product for short term but feel a more industrial product will most likely be needed in the near future for real world Attitude gains.

A nice little gadget for someone that might have everything. Does actually work. The only con is the build quality is a little poor. Nothing to cry about though.
