99% Perfect fit 2020 Equinox
The margin of error was so small that this initially was a headache to align perfectly. The included microfiber cloth was serviceable enough though very small. The alcohol pad was barely wet and the dust removing sticker was flimsy to handle and so tacky that it left behind adhesive residue, requiring a second thorough cleaning to remove that sticky film.Ended up just resting the protector bottom along the raised edge of the control buttons and made "hinges" along top and a "handle" along bottom all with painters tape.Went on relatively well aside from the oodles and oodles of bubbles. I instantly felt like this was not going to turn out well, but after some relifting and bubble pushing I managed to get it 99% resolved. There were some tiny bubbles that required some pressure holding and they seem to have held. I think a contributing factor to the bubbles is how soft the equinox screen is, so when pressing the protector to it there is a bit of screen flexion beneath it which is not conducive to a nice flat bubbleless install.Really the only parts that I'm not super happy with are the resultant spots where I needed to pry the protector back up with my fingernail, which is exactly what I expected to happen as you essentially are mucking the adhesive in that spot a bit, and never seems to quite look crystal clear in that spot again. Sometimes with protectors you don't need to pry *under* at all and can manage to catch just the edge, but in this case it had stuck so well that I was surprised to even have been able to lift it back up, and honestly those couple spots are so small and insignificant that they are only noticeable if you're looking for them when the screen is off.I'm happy overall.
