BOOMSTICK Pink Electronic Ear Muff with 4 AAA

I was not impressed with the sound cancellation at all. It barely muffled sounds. The microphone did cut off just at the sound of me clapping my hands though, so there's that and the sound quality through the mic was decent. Cheap quality overall. I paid $13.99 for a warehouse deal. Definitely not worth full price and I probably wouldn't recommend.

I guess you get what you pay for. I bought these for my wife so she could hear instruction while at the range. But the noise cancelling part barely works or not at all. When firing a weapon it is so loud you might as well not have any ear protection on.

I used these at the gun range today. I liked the volume controls to adjust the sound of voices but I wasn't impressed with the noise cancellation. My husband and I both had to go get ear plugs to wear along with the Ear Muffs. So fair warning, if you do buy these, you might want to get some ear plugs to wear too.

Purchased as a gift. Did not test. Opened 2 days after the return window. DOA. Both ears, complete junk. I guess I need to test ever gift I buy on Amazon.

Awesome! They shut off right when there is a loud noise, but you can still talk on the range!

Top of the line quality performance

The plastic on the headband is surprisingly cheap with sharp edges. The muffs are light, comfortable and compact. There isn't much hearing protection (much less than my passive Howard Leight L3 passives), it is just about 7mm of foam. The electronics aren't very loud and have no bass, separate volume controls. You would wear earplugs for shooting, but the amplified volume isn't as loud as you would like, so not a huge benefit. If you clap your hands the sound cuts out completely for 1 second. I bought these because the price dropped by half for a day, so OK for the money.The muffs are cut for a helmet rather than a rifle, but it may be possible to remove them from the headband and use them upside down.So these work, but they are minimum standard, and not great value for money.
