This is a compact and lightweight unit which easily keeps large lead batteries charged up. The system is easy to set up and it worked straight out of the box on automatic settings without any fiddling about - it is plug and play. I already have the larger 100 watt folding panel in this series which is slightly heavier but this one seems just as effective for the use I give them on campsites. I mostly use them for charging phones, computers iPads , camera batteries and power charging blocks. I generally connect these items via a 12v battery but the controller unit does have usb outputs which do work well. The only thing I don’t like about these Dokio units is that the alligator battery clips are poor quality but work OK. I would rather have paid an extra fiver and had very good quality battery clips. That aside, it’s a great bit of kit.

Brought this for camping I have a leisure battery in my small trailer after setting up my tent I put the Solar panel on the top and connect it to the battery then connect my battery to my sinewave converter that is in my tent. blows my beds up runs my lights my radio and charges my phones and connects to my laptop to watch streaming programs. its like a home from home but with the views of the world when I'm ready to move on I just disconnect fold up and I'm off. The down side can blow away so a bit of rope and its safe other down side would like to have seen some stand so can angle towards sun but still charges when its flat on my trailer. lastly why no connector for the light. On my wish list I would of light the solar power station but are out of my price range so if anyone would like me to review there's feel free to send it p.s but I will only give honest review.

Works well except the connector between the panel and the controller appears to already have a loose connection and being Amazon I have no way of contacting the supplier for a warranty repair/return!!!!!!

Good product supplied with all you need to plug and play. Fairly robust and not too heavy.

Its not sturdy to be left a breeze will blow it over i ended up propping it against my motorhome and that has worked.

Thought I’d pop back and say that after two years it’s pulling a total of 12w on a blazing hot beach. So the efficiency is questionable after this time. I think it was more effective when it was new but I guess being carried around in the van for two years has had an impact. The sae connector disconnects itself if you look at it funny too. Useful but not reliable.

Purchased for my caravan - it does what it says on the tin. Charged my spare leisure battery and was able to charge my mobile phone at the same time. Very impressed.

Nothing yet till I use it for 3-6month.but good for now

Ich habe diese Solar Panel Bestellt um auf meinem kleinen Ruderboot mit Elektrischem Ausenbordmotor die Reichweite etwas zu erhöhen und um mein Handy und Bluetooth Lautsprecher unterwegs zu laden. Von der Idee her ist der kleine Laderegler toll, da man auch ohne angeschlossene 12v Batterie die USB Anschlüsse nutzen kann, bei den meisten anderen geht das nicht. Die Paneele ist leicht, praktisch mit Tasche versehen und die Kabel sind gut dimensioniert und Lang genug. Leider ist der Laderegler innerhalb von nur einem Tag kaputt gewesen. Vielleicht ist das auch daran gelegen das die Paneele uber20v im Leerlauf an den Kontakten ausgibt. Nachdem der Laderegler nicht mehr funktioniert hat hatte ich erst die Paneele in Verdacht, deshalb habe ich dort direkt gemessen, was man ja laut Anleitung nicht soll.... Schade, wäre ein Hammer Preis für das Produkt wenn es funktionieren würde!
