excellent quality of coir right here. one of the best we have found
we go through a LOT of coco coir here since we run a reptile rescue. i have to say without a doubt this was one of the nicest blocks we have had up till this point. very few specks of salt, almost no sand in it and literally no foreign junk in it no strings, plastic, or anything i couldnt find even one piece. it was really nice and fluffy once expended and even that process was super easy. what we do is use a flat head screwdriver and a hammer to break it into smaller pieces, then bake at 250deg for 2-3 hours till internal temps are over 200deg (this kills eggs of basically anything like fungus gnats etc) then this stuff just literally fell apart with very little water. it made around 15 -16 gallons for us and even though it costs a bit more then the other brand we were using we are VERY happy with this. i have 2 other blocks coming from other brands and ill report back about those as well im just hoping they are half as good as this stuff is. quality was also FAR better then the eco earth from zoomed which we stopped using long ago.

BEST PURCHASE EVER!!!
This stuff is amazing!! Bought as a soil base for house plants, etc. It produced well over 10.5 gallons and was super easy to pull apart! . I had to use a large planting pot to help accommodate! I used a hose on a rough setting as I filled the bucket to help break up the coir- worked like a charm! Some areas in the center were dry and extra compact but to be expected and just needed more water. Added worm castings and pumice for fertilizer and water filtration! Definitely worth the purchase, compared with an old bag that was at least $15 and only 28 liters of soil. Full of unnecessary additives. Will buy this again!!!

Coco fiber soil as a replacement for peat moss
This is my second purchase of this product. I use it instead of peat moss, it is a bit less acidic than peat moss, which I wanted, and is a renewable resource. I have been using it as part of a DIY potting soil, to up-pot cuttings and seedlings, some of which did not seem to like the acidity of peat moss. Very happy with it. The picture shows the expanded soil, it filled about 3/4 of a 20 gallon bin, which lasted in my case ~18 months.

Bricks of fiber
This was my first time buying coco fiber in a brick and not in a bag, and I will never go back, for the price and quantity this is an amazing buy. My product seems good quality, I have no smell. I mixed it with some other amendments and will be using it to grow veggies in 1-foot square grow bags, I will update on their survival in this medium as I go. But I'm happy overall.

Good coco for a great price.
I purchased this instead of buying the premixed and prebagged stuff to hopefully save some money. In the end it was a lot of work to wash and prebuffer this coco. I'm not saying it was hard or anything, but you do have to run many gallons of water through the coco first before you use or the ppms will be pretty high for small plants. Also you want to do it to get the ph stable. It is a good mix of coco, it's mostly made up of coco fiber with some finer stuff mixed in. For the price of this bale, it's pretty good quality. I would definitely buy this if you don't mind putting in the time to rinse and prepare the coco before use. I've used it with great success so far and will definitely recommend it!

Not good
Perhaps, I got a bad batch? Either way, I'll stick with another brand.

It is good stuff
I do like it but it’s such a big block and it’s so hard that you pretty much have to soak the giant block or break out a hammerAnd chisel. Other than that I do enjoy it.Just have to put in a little work like I said.

grow weed indoors without all that hippe bs of organics. well this is your boy. cheap sterile and coco. i hydrate with iron rich well water and feed with jrpeters and ro water. this plus good genetics plus crop salts farmers use to grow your food, drain to recirculate, waste once a month and youll crush it. stop wasting your money on anything else, providing you fit this category.
