Your buddy is back! This is the authentic Nintendo NES R.O.B. (Robotic Operating Buddy) converted into a highly unique lamp. ROB was probably one of the most interactive, sophisticated, and coolest gaming accessories Nintendo ever created. This little guy would not only play with you on certain NES games he would rotate, grab objects, spin spinners, and move his arms up and down. Who needs human friends! In creating this lamp I was very careful to preserve all of ROB's awesome functions and charm. Although he is no longer operational with your help he is still able to to rotate 180 degrees, open and close his arms, raise his arms/shoulders up and down, and raise/lower his head slightly to look up or down. He can even hold small objects (it helps if the object has a lip or a lid like the pen cap shown in the additional picture). The lamp shade is included and can be easily removed. Fits any standard size light bulb (up to 40 watt for the old incandescent bulbs or up to 13 watt for the new energy saver bulbs). A fitting tribute to the golden age of NES. The overall height of the lamp including the shade is approx 19 inches tall. The power cord is approx 50 inches long. The perfect accent to any room. Great conversation piece!
