My application required the fine thread siphon valve and this one fit perfectly.

This fit just fine on my fine thread outdoor faucet. It only needed to be finger-tightened (no tools required). The new device resolved the problem with the leak that had developed on my old one. The only complaint that I have is that this item is a little pricey.

Perfect replacement for my failed vacuum breaker. But be sure to check the thread type before ordering! I didn't pay attention to the fine thread / coarse thread part so I started by ordering the wrong one (coarse) and had to return that. No worries there, got it all resolved just a word to the wise. Also based on YouTubers' recommendations I used red threadlocker to lock it on instead of the little nut. The old one had that too, the trick for getting it off is to just heat it up some with a propane torch. Easy!

These are hard to find locally so I opted to order this one. These generally seem to be more costly than their normal thread counterparts, but worth it so I can actually connect a hose to our home's water spigot. No leaks upon installing. When turning off the spigot, the water will evacuate what is left in the hose to prevent pressure build up.

After watching a dozen YouTube videos and doing some shopping, I finally found this piece which fixed the water leak on my outdoor spigot.

Fitted perfectly my outside garden tap. I did not fit the small screw as it will damage the tap thread, it still worked without any leak. This is notEasy to find in your local stores.

This item is a Fine Thread vacuum breaker for applicable hose bibs. These things are overpriced, and hard to find locally but are now being required by code in many municipalities. For the most part, based on experience these devices only last 5-10 years due to the rubber gasket inside going bad. Nonetheless this particular unit seems to be made of solid brass except for the little set screw on the side, which will likely begin to rust in no time.
