I have been a heavy diet soda addict for 18 years, and I am a 56 year old woman, and I have tried many times to quit, and failed :( I was so happy when Diet Pepsi took out the Aspartame, and replaced it with a healthier sweetener. But, it still wasn't healthy for my body to be drinking that much diet soda each and every day, which I figured out to 4 to 6 cans a day. I know, that is very excessive ;) LOL I have lost 45 lbs in three years, which was good, but I lost it by eating less sweets, and cutting back on second servings. I knew I wanted to quit diet soda, but how?? I was so addicted to it, and I was scared to have the bad and sometimes severe side effects, with going cold turkey. I didn't know what to do, so I did some research on Google, and I came across these Caffeine with L-Theanine pills, and I read the reviews, and there were more positive, than negative, so I figured why not, and purchased a jar. I drank my last can of Diet Pepsi, on Sunday, and I started my new plan to quit on Monday, and I started to feel the withdrawals of not having my morning can of diet soda when I woke-up in the morning, and I started to feel kinda jittery, and shaky inside, and feel a slight headache coming on. So I ate a bowl of cereal, because I read some reviews to take this pill with food, and then I took one pill, and within an hour I started to feel better, more calm, and the shaky and jittery feelings started to subside, and so did my headache. I was so happy, and thought wow, this is super great, if it can help me to quit diet soda. Later in the afternoon, I started to feel a little tired, so I took another pill, and I was feeling good and less tired, and was impressed so far. I have to say, I have not drank any diet soda for 4 days, and for being a addict of soda for 18 years, I feel great, and haven't had any cravings for it, and honestly I don't miss it, and I think it's all because of this product, and it has made it so easy to give up the diet soda, and not get the bad withdrawals, that I was dreading. I have not had one withdrawal so far. I only take one pill in the morning, I have been taking these pills for 4 days now, one pill once a day, and I would highly recommend this product to anyone that needs a boost of caffeine, and want to quit drinking diet soda, or cut back on coffee. I will continue to buy this product, and I am so thankful that I have found this product, to help me break my addiction to diet soda, it's a life changer for the better. I feel more calm, and relaxed, with more energy, and in a better mood :) I know this product doesn't work for everyone, but I am so happy is has worked for me so far. FYI: I hate coffee, and Alcohol, and I never drink it, and I don't smoke, or do drugs, so I don't need to rely on these other unhealthy substitutes for energy, or to calm myself down with :) I am so thankful for this product, that I can finally give up diet soda, and be more healthy!!!!! A couple of month’s ago, the doctor I have had for years moved away. I love staying physically active. However, I suffer from depression - it is really difficult to get up in the morning, I have no motivation to work or go about my normal life. I wouldn't say these are a miracle supplement, but these supplements give me the small boost I need to wake up and continue with my work and my daily life. I am not bouncing off the walls and doing back flips, but I do feel a lot better and I can focus on my work. It takes about 30 mins to an hour to work, and some days it doesn't work at all, but that is pretty rare.I've tried plenty of supplements like this, but this one has the best effect on me whenever I am working. I never feel horrible afterward. My mood is pretty steady the entire day.I would give this product a higher score, but it is a little pricey, so I don't purchase this product often.
