Nice, strong, bright!!!

The light is great. Easy to assemble, puts out great light, and has classic clean lines. I wish I had bought a second one because even my husband commented that he liked the light.

I like this lamp very much. I love to work on needlecraft projects and this lamp allows the light to fall where I need it the most. I have tried other lamps but this lamp has worked the best for me. It seems to be well made and gives me the flexibility to have very bright lighting for my needlework, reduced lighting for reading, or very soft lighting for tv viewing. I haven't had the lamp for very long but so far I am very happy with it.

It's good. Well built and well packaged.It assembles easily and the threaded sections screw tightly and securely together ( no slip and twist cheap- outs).The six way claim means that the center bulb is on a three way switch (150 max ) but the three surrounding lights (60w max) are also on a three way which makes it possible to have one or two or three lights on in sequence. That is a very nice flexible feature. The shade is also of excellent quality. Base is weighted and stable.Bottom line- a good value. Much better than the similar lamp that it replaced. A+.

1. Bulbs will light up in lamp holders. I give it one star for this.2. The 3-way switching works properly. The requires a 3-way bulb for the effect. The surrounding trio of lamps use a standard base (not candelabra base) lamp. The switch turns one on, then the other two only, then all three in sequence. I give it a second star.3. The overall design is fairly good considering its need to break down for shipping and the included lamp shade is okay. The weight in the base may be from simple cement/concrete, but at least it is held in place by a plastic shell.4. The lamp harp and finial supposed to be included was not found in the packaging. I ordered replacements from Amazon for about $20.5. The lamp top has a cant of about 10 degrees due to parts not being squarely put together. this means that the top of the lamp will tilt relative to the floor, which looks odd and would be an embarrassment to have in any public room of one's house. Possibly this could be fixed, I but I am not inclined to risk trying to twist it into proper position as the sheet metal may simply bend if one doesn't have the proper jigs to distribute the force.Considering that one can find a comparable lamp on Amazon for 1/2 the price, I was disappointed in the result of spending $150 on this one. But if the lamp was in perfect condition from the factory and no parts were missing, I would have given it 5 stars. I have also ordered the $70 version. I don't think it could be worse.

We were very surprised to see the packaging of the lamp. I had no idea as the way they were broke down for shipping. I don`t think anyone would have to worry about any damage in shipping short of being run over by a bulldozer. It was easy to assemble. The color was what we wanted. the 3 way switching is a good feature. !00 % satisfied. It sits in our living room and is very pretty when lite. Very versatile. Can control amount of light. Looks great in my family room near sofa. Shade is even nicer than I expected. Very happy.

I am a low vision person and need good light for reading and doing anything requiring accuracy. This light with its many options for brightness filled the bill. it is not as sturdy as some other lamps but was very easy to assemble and the 3 way option on the top bulb feature really makes a difference in visibility. Overall a good product but: The assembler used Styrofoam to pack the base plate. Really? so many other options for packaging that are much more environmentally friendly.
