Magnets are pretty strong, but the design with the thumb guide limits which hand you can use it on, since the magnets are only in one area of the band.

Rule #1...make sure your screws are magnetic. ;-) When I first tried this I couldn't get the screws to stick to the wristband. It turns out that they weren't magnetic. With different screws they stuck just fine. But this isn't really that comfortable. If the job is a quick one (hanging a picture or two for example) it is okay. Any longer than that it becomes uncomfortable...at least it did on me. It chafed around the thumb and in the bend of my wrist. I think I'd rather just put nails and screws in my work apron and retrieve them as needed.

Bought as a Christmas gift and my boyfriend loves it! He uses it everyday at work.

Purchased as a gift for my husband, he said it is comfortable and very convenient on the job site, all the other workers wanted to know where we purchased it as they too want to purchase one now. Definitely recommend this product.
